Toby Carvery Brentwood

I like the way the food is cooked in this particular branch. Although I don't like the inconsistency of the serving of the meat. It is very much true that the more experienced the employee is of Tobey the better it is for the customers, as you get a fair portion of meat. Inexperienced employees are useless as they always serve scraps, don't even get a proper slice as their knife slips as they're trying to cut it so fine. It's always a mixed bag every time we go either we are very pleased with the service or very disappointed. Also I decided yesterday I when there never to opt for the king-size plate again as you don't get any more for your money only a couple of sausages which I could do without.

Had a wonderful carvery tonight with my beloved husband. The restaurant was full with families and couples/groups but, waitress was attentive although clearly busy. The food was hot and delicious. The vegetables were replenished quickly, so that nothing was left and dried out. Couldn't have asked for more. We had a wonderful date night and will certainly make this Toby carvery a regular weekly venue!

Arrived 8pm on a Saturday without a reservation, food was plentiful, fresh and juicy. The meat server behind the counter who has a beard was delightful was very happy with his service. Tables and glasses were clean. The waitresses were constantly around and moving about so easy to get service. Was a very good night out definitly come again.
