A go-to for that midweek celebration. I've been here 3-4 time now and it rarely disappoints. The food is always tasty and the atmosphere is always great, even on a weeknight. The smallish and multi-level space means that it actually feels quite cosy despite being fairly open. Also, unlike many modern restaurants, the acoustics mean that it's easy to hear and speak to everyone at your table without resorting to lip-reading. Only feedback is I'd love to see more rotation and new items on the menu. But that's probably down to me visiting more often than most :)

1st time visit. Great value food, great quality. I'd recommend 3 small plates each 5/6 between 2 of you. The scallops (2plates) went really well with the chicken livers. We also had pig cheeks and crispy honey and bbq chicken, with sweet potato fries. Excellent experience, will definitely visit again.

Amazing! We absolutely loved the food here and will definately be returning. Our favourites included the sticky chicken, chorizo in red wine and lamb meatballs. There was a good selection of cocktails and wines too. The staff were also friendly and attentive. It was good value for money at about £100 per couple (but that included quite a lot of both food and drink!)

Four of us went for a tapas dinner which was absolutely spot-on! The wine list, cocktail and food menu had lots of choice and the prices were great. The décor is fabulous, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a nice table in the window, the order was taken quickly, and the food tasted delicious. We had olives (succulent) and bread as a starter. Then we each picked 2 dishes from the tapas menu. My favourites were the pan-fried chicken livers, Montbru garrotxa ( goats cheese with fig relish) and the crispy sesame chicken with honey & bbq glaze. They also had my current favourite wine on the wine list! Bonus. So after Espresso Martini’s it was a bottle of the delicious Spanish red ‘The Guv’nor’. This tapas restaurant is a must for people living and visiting Bridgend. Absolutely amazing experience! Food was very nice, fresh, well seasoned, beautifully presented, exceptional I would say. My husband has gluten allergy so we are always nervous when dining out. They have GF options marked in the menu (reassuring from the start) and there are loads to choose from. Some dishes can be adapted to be gluten free. Amazing attitude by the staff towards the allergy issues. Checked and double checked with the chef to make sure everything my husband ordered was gluten free and it was! Thank you!
