This has got to be the best "Italian" restaurant in Bridgend!! Nedim and his staff are very friendly and can't do enough to make your visit an enjoyable experience. The menu is not exclusively Italian so there is something for everyone. Highly recommended as a "happy" place to eat.
Nedim, Alex, Tim, Istvam and the others are NOT Italian but don't pretend to be : but the service they all give is impressive. If there is something you're not happy about then let Nedim know and he will sort it!!
I noticed that a previous post was by someone who really wasn't happy about the food and where it may have come from !! So what: if it's prepared properly, served with good humour and tastes good, that's good enough for me. May I respectfully suggest that you eat somewhere else in future!!!!
White bait, mussels and a bottle of wine are good enough for me anyway. Well done, I always enjoy my Saturday lunch in Zia Nina
Fantastic meal last night. Staff were very attentive, friendly, professional and happy to tell us the recipe for one of their sauces. The starters were divine and every plate was cleared.
I had a steak which was melt in the mouth and the peppercorn sauce was superb. Everyone else in our party had pasta and struggled to eat the generous portions but insisted on clearing the plates yet again.
We were tipped off by a local to try this place and it will likely be the main reason we return to Bridgend.
Go there. Go today!! If I could I would.

Lovely service, nice atmosphere and excellent food. We chose from the great value lunch menu. Our meals were delicious, hot and tasty. The highlight was probably my partner's medium-rare 10oz sirloin which was perfectly cooked and rested, and she loved her mushroom sauce (although there wasn't enough of it).
Came here 24/04/23 (forgot to leave a review at the time only just looking through my photos which has reminded me) was served by a a girl with black hair and i am only just getting into fresh fish and she assured me that the ‘ ‘fish of the day’ which was game wasn’t overpowering and i would most likely like it and she was right, really friendly and helpful, beautiful restaurant and once in the restaurant you really get the feel your in an italian restaurant. great prices and will definitely be returning! :)
Honestly not 1 negative/bad thing to say!! Absolutely amazing staff and waiters!! Starters was out pretty much stiaght away then about 3/4 mins after we finished our starters our mains came out!! The food is so beautiful honestly not 1 negative to say!! Will 100 percent be coming back!!
Nice Italian restaurant in Bridgend Town centre. Reasonable prices and hot, tasty food. We were a large party of 20, who each paid £10pp deposit, which they forgot to take off our bill initially. Sorted in the end, but was a bit of a hassle at the end of the evening, which was avoidable. Apart from that, all was OK.
We enjoyed the experience, service excellent and the food was really good. It was my first time there. I will be going there again I'd like to try more food from the menu.

Such a delightful mix of fresh ingredients and excellent Italian service. Straight away we were made to feel welcome. The decor is fabulous and the ambiance is lovely, cosy & relaxing.
The menu is not extensive but what they do is sublime, tasty and of exceptional quality.

Went for my 30th birthday. It was delicious. There was such a wide range of choices! They even took alergens in to consideration which I think is amazing! The food was fresh and the wait wasn't too long. The waitress was upbeat and very polite which is nice to see!

Very beautiful restaurant, very pretty inside too. Catered well for gluten-free, many options. The staff treat you like family there , the look of the restaurant is also extremely cosy and romantic. The timings of the food were brilliant too .
Everything about Zia Nina is quality, from the way the tables are laid to give it an intimate feel, but also a restful distance from your neighbours, to the music, the wait staff and the food, all of it combines to make a unique experience.
