Superb home cooked food. Staff so helpful, great that it's open all afternoon, as our train trip finished 3:10pm, good value. Basically brilliant. Just a 7 minute walk from the train station.

Visited this pub whilst on a day trip to the town. Despite being very busy they managed to accommodate us for lunch. The roast beef dinner was very good & my partner thoroughly enjoyed her fish pie. Friendly attentive service, good sized portions all at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

The Old Castle is amazing. I have never been before. The food and service we're outstanding. It's of a gastro pub standard but without the pretentiousness and silly prices. The portions were decent sizes too, so wear something stretchy! There were 4 of us, and we had 3 courses plus drinks. We really were stuffed, but the puddings were amazing, so we had to have those too! The Old Castle also keeps a decent pint and is spotlessly clean and dog friendly.... what more could you ask for. I would recommend this pub wholeheartedly and cannot wait to return very soon.

Lovely pub, great food. Homemade veg lasagne is just lovely. Really appreciate that we can take our hounds in too. Nice to find somewhere you can eat after 2pm in Bridgnorth it's very rare! On your day off it's nice to eat whenever, relaxing and no rush. Will visit again soon

Good food with good portions. Outside and indoor eating area. Especially good if you have kids or dogs. We went as group of 6 + baby at 5:30 on a Saturday. All enjoyed the meal. You need to order at bar but service was good

The food was good, the staff kind and quick, and the view across town from the beautiful beer garden in the back was lovely.

The food was spot on for what we wanted coming out hot fresh and within 15-20 minutes for a table of 5 on a warm, sunny and busy Friday lunch time is outstanding. The staff where all very nice and friendly. Would recommend they even have space for dogs outside in the garden.
