Very clean rooms, friendly staff, good location (for me anyway) and food was excellent. I stated I required gluten free due to my celiacs and their service was incredible! I feel Kate went above and beyond and the chef even made gluten free onion rings for me. Thank you for a brilliant stay. Ive fou
Great restaurant and food. Stayed here for the first time and the room was lovely, staff were friendly but a bit fast in explaining the room and getting in and out the building but we managed fine.
Lovely, clean room. Large, comfy bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was excellent both nights and breakfast was delicious both mornings. Great location. 10 mins walk into town/attractions. Highly recommend for relaxing stay away.
Brilliant hotel. Room comfortable, shower excellent. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Food and beer both locally sourced and excellent.
Our 2nd stay at The Woodberry. Stunning decor and great service.Wonderful breakfast each morning. The owners have turned what I have been told was a tired pub into a stunning place with no expense spared on decor and quality furnishing.
Great place to stay - fantastic staff, just up the road from the town centre and a lovely atmosphere in the pub. The rooms were really good and we all enjoyed a big breakfast. Catering for my vegan diet was no problem either 😊
Very clean accommodation with staff who were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless. We had a super stay here and plenty of room in the car park. The hotel is also right by bus stops and about a 10 minute walk into the High Town.
Nice garden with live bands at weekends. Small plate menu available but a bit expensive for what you get. Flat bread pizzas are good. Wish the bar area could be dog friendly.
Lovely little hotel! Lovely comfy room. Breakfast was great! No complaints at all!
The food here is once again brilliant. The new chef definitely bringing all the old regulars back &, plenty of new customers too.
Stopped by here for lunch. It's an attractive place with a decent sized car park and spacious bar and restaurant area. There was a real log burning fire in the lounge bar and the service was good. The sandwich my companion was served was generous and tasty. My choice was the king prawns. Personally
Excellent top quality food here. The chips and onion rings are to die for. Service was also excellent. Nice place with a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Sunday lunch for 4 people was very good. Seating good, overall recommended.
