Three of us went here late afternoon on a Friday. Had never been before but what a wonderful place! Nicely done out cafe style but with a bar to front and very cosy and plenty of continued dining areas on the upper floors, so don't be put off by the immediate small frontage. The lady who served us was excellent. We order three main meals, which were cooked to perfection and you certainly get your monies worth. I can also highly recommend the strawberry milkshake. 1 pot of tea was adequate for at least 3 cups. Excellent place and a big well done to staff. We will definitely be returning in the future!
Quirky old-fashioned style venue with superb food and more than generous portions. Prices relatively decent. Good choice and a lot is homemade. Coming here now since I was a young lad.
