Quite frankly the best place to eat in Bridgwater! Proper portions of tried and tested classic dishes and Mediterranean influences as well... Or you can smash a Sunday carvery and have a drink in the adjourning Bar 27. Five stars.
Had a wonderful roast pork lunch in The Tudor last week. Very good value for money, excellent service and the food was outstanding! Lovely and clean in the restaurant and toilets. Beautiful building too! I would highly recommend it!
This wonderful hotel and restaurant is really very special. Owned by a family who clearly care deeply about every guests experience, along with staff who are rightly proud to work at The Tudor.
My husband and I enjoyed a most wonderful stay as well as beautiful, well priced food.
Amanda, the receptionist, is a superhero and we are sincerely grateful to her and all of the staff for a first class experience.
We visited Bridgewater for a family party, but will return just for a stay in this fabulous hotel again.

The hotel was very central and with very friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay there. The only minus was the bed, as the mattress was too soft for my tastes, but all in all it was a great experience. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was great! I would definitely go back if I find myself in Bridgwater again.

We were right at the back of the hotel so it was a little bit of a hike via a few twists and turns to get to the room. Bed was comfortable and the shower powerful and hot. Breakfast was excellent the eggs benadict was to notch.
My wife and I chose to have a Saturday lunch there last weekend and we were pleasantly surprised, the food was excellent, we chose 1 gammon egg and chips and 1 boiled ham egg and chips, the gammon was large and cooked perfectly and the ham was plentiful and tasty, the best part though (for me anyway) was the chips, for some reason, in Somerset, nearly everywhere we visit, the restaurants/pubs don`t know how to peel a few spuds and make home made chips!
Well they do at the Tudor, brill!

2nd visit yesterday. Still excellent in all aspects. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere and service. Will be back soon.
I went down to Tudor hotel and restaurant 6th and 7th I got too say I can’t fault it it was every friendly and welcome staff and really excellent food and great service.
