First time trying this place and what a treat!!
Was a last minute decision to try here at 9pm on Friday night with some friends.
We were welcomed in and seated comfortably straight away, was fairly busy there.

This is another one of those places in Bridgwater that has been there since the 70's and the food is same now as it was then, excellent. In the same vein as Pak Lok Chinese takeaway in Bridgwater that has also been around since the 70's, others come, they are all good at the start then usually fade
Generous portions of very good food, a relaxed comfortable atmosphere and excellent staff 👌 I intend to return regularly.

Just been to English Raj and ordered 2 chicken tikka masala and 2 peshwari nanns. Absolutely fantastic food. Best take away I have had for a very long time.
Very nice Restaurant. Good food and very friendly staff who were extremely efficient (best service I’ve ever encountered in fact). I was on holiday in Bridgwater and this busy town made a nice change from the quiet campsite I was staying at in the Quantock Hills. Thank you.
