Richies Cafe is more than just a cafe. It combines a restaurant, takeaway, and bar. It also offers free WiFi and outdoor seating. It is found on the south beach promenade with excellent sea views. It is a very popular cafe, so the staff are always kept busy but remain friendly, helpful and polite. T
Fish and chips from Richie's are always a must when we visit the Yorkshire coast. We love the food there and it's right on the sea front.
There is plenty of seating inside and out, and it's dog friendly in or out. The staff are always happy and helpful.
There is disabled access and a bar at one end.
We LOVE Richie’s cafe. We visit multiple times every time we’re on holiday. The food is excellent value for money, the portion sizes are brilliant and fresh. loved this cafe bar. Huge portions and excellent food in a welcoming environment. Fish and chips excellent apple pie almost as good as home made ploughman's salad outstanding and huge.
The best chips I've had in a long time and most importantly, they're fried in oil! This was important as I'm a vegetarian. Staff were friendly. There's also a nice creamery next door serving ice cream. All with a fabulous sea view 👍👍👍
Great place right on the seafront. Enjoyed many a drink, ice cream and food. Hidden little gem. Always busy with good atmosphere. Staff polite & helpful.
Apple pie and ice cream was the nicest I've had. Not keen on the coffee I had though as it's from a machine so not very hot I like coffee really hot. Other wise a great place to sit and eat and chill with your dog.
Lovely dog friendly cafe with good selection of traditional food plus more choices for
those who prefer burgers /pastas etc.

Apple pie and ice cream is super. Sitting out on the promenade with a view of the sea in the sunshine. Perfect!

This is a great cafe situated on south beach, providing a wonderful selection of food. To eat in or take out.
Whilst on the beach ⛱ we got a beautiful sandwich, to eat out on the beach. This was provided in a box that can be recycled. 👍👍👍
A 3 in one cafe bar takeway done right. The young team are kind and caring, the food is great and the portion sizes are off the scale, if you come nearby its well worth the visit

Good food , especially the haddock and chips special it comes with peas..i added a boat of lovely thick curry lovely well worth it.
I asked for crab salad but they had none. You can have a pint with your meal I chose John Smith,s bitter.

My husband, and I have been to this cafe, today. Dogs are welcome, which is good for us. The food was delicious, value for the money. The staff were very efficient and approachable. The cafe, itself, was very clean. We'll, certainly, be back.
Absolutely great location especially if the Sun is out sitting on the upper terrace overlooking the beach. Ordered lunch and drinks. Jacket potato and Cheese toastie and Caffery’s ale a real favourite of mine. Went back again later that week all the staff were polite and friendly. The upper terrace
Huge portions, but the food is good too. Reasonably priced, friendly, great location.
Friendly servers, good food and our dog was given sausages by the staff as a treat! We are definitely going back.
