Reading the poor reviews once we had already ordered I was a little concerned. However pleasently surprised. Food and service we're good (not award winning but good). We had some of the best battered cod here today as not greasy at all. The chips were blooming scrummy! The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is they had no ketchup which for me is a major part of having fish and chips

Was a little worried reading the reviews after we'd ordered, but can honestly say service and food was spot on :). Cleanliness could be better but not the worst place!. Very tasty fresh cooked food.

In my opinion I think the lady doing the cooking serving and everything that needed doing did exceptionally well to say it got quite busy and the poor soul was on her own , how can anyone expect to have their meal within 5 minutes. I say well done lady.

Wow I'm gobsmacked reading these reviews slating this place. Whilst I agree, the cleanliness could leave a lot to be desired. The food was exceptional 👌

Lovely lady in charge of cooking. Little wait for fish, but that means freshly cooked. Good portions and lovely batter.
