The food is very good indeed, in fact some of the best Italian food I’ve had in some time. The staff are very attentive but they just need to smile a bit more and engage with the customer, look like your enjoying guys it makes a real difference. I was extremely disappointed to see 15% gratuity added to the bill, we don’t do that up north guys that’s what they do in London. If you’ve smiled and engaged with me I’ll add a tip.

Nice clean restaurant/hotel in the centre of Brighouse on the bank of the Leeds/Liverpool canal. We went for 'early doors' and had 2 courses for £14 approx. Food was largely Italian but was good quality, plentiful and hot. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Great service, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. Good food quickly prepared and served but not rushed. Very good value. Really enjoyed the experience which was a combined birthday and anniversary treat- although we didn't tell the staff that until the end!

My wife booked a surprise 40th here and I must say the venue was perfect the staff could not have been better. The kids play area was appreciated by all the parents amongst us, and allowed for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. The food was great and I personally thought all the staff performed remarkably considering how busy the place was. We had 40 guests and they managed comfortably to seat us together. Thank you

What a gem of a place. Food is lovely and very reasonable. On Sunday they have a section for children which has games, face painting, movies and dressing up clothes all to keep children occupied. This seemed very popular. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere

Haven't been to Prego's for a long time, but decided to hold an old works reunion. So glad we did. Not rushed to eat up quickly which I have found at other Italian restaurants. We were all very happy with the meals we chose. Dam good evening and surroundings.

Tasteful decor and first class food. My only complaint was that the menu is so extensive it took an age , three coin flips and seven games of rock paper scissors to decide what I was having.

Top class service and food. We arrived on time and were shown to the little bar area where we had a pre meal drink. All the food was very very good and we sat there until almost everybody had gone and nobody tried to usher us out. A lovely evening definitely to be repeated.

Well located Italian restaurant in brighouse centre. Car park immediately adjacent (charges midweek up to 6pm, 60p an hour I believe). Very reasonably priced especially if choosing from the extensive 2 or 3 course early bird menu. Pizzas are the stand out dish, all thin and hand stretched bases. Friendly staff very attentive. Service is quick. Hotel above for out of town guests. Well decorated, but slightly oddly layed out (you half walk through the kotcheb when going from bar to restaurant). A favourite for locals!

Nice place with good atmosphere and food. However annoyed at them automatically adding onto the bill an "optional" gratuity of 10 percent equating to nearly £20, which you'd then have to request not to pay. Due to this behaviour we'd be unlikely to return.

Really good menus with plenty of options, even on the early bird menu. Brilliant food, lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Even though we were slightly late for our booking, the staff were great and had us seated and served really quickly without a fuss.

Just had a fantastic meal at Prego. Food absolutely amazing and service attentive but not intrusive. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, with family groups, couples and groups of friends, clearly a restaurant for all. Thoroughly recommend.

I booked Pregos to celebrate my daughter in laws graduation. Staff were amazing so helpful even brought duplo bricks out to occupy my grandson. Food was delicious would definitely recommend I will be going again even if it’s just for the gin lol

My daughter had a meal with 7 friends to celebrate her 14th birthday - no parents allowed! I asked the staff to make a fuss of her and deliver a birthday cake at the end of the meal. She had a fantastic time and was made to feel special on her special day. It's the personal touches that make a big difference. We visit Prego's fairly regularly as a family and the food and service is always top notch.

Called for the Early Bird Menu yesterday with my husband and Son. Food was lovely and efficient service. Great value for money. All the staff were lovely but for 1 lady whi was so miserable it felt awkward when shw came for our orders, she didn't smile once and hardly spoke. At 1 point she was chomping chewing gum, and no she wasnt 1 of the young waitresses.
Will visit again definatley.

We had our anniversary party there. I live 3000 miles away so everything was done via email. They were very accommodating and the food was execllent. Sarah and Kelsa were amazing to work with. I highly recommend Prego!

We had a booking for 6pm last night, was busy, but seems very unorganised.
The food was lovely but the service was shocking!!
Someone brought out 2 starters then disappeared to bring food out to another table, then rest of starters came out. Same for main course, do you want Parmesan, yes please, so waiter disappears and then he’s serving someone else, where is the cheese??
We tried to pay for over 15 mins, kept promising to bring card machine then we were rudely asked to go pay at bar!!!! Could have walked out without paying no one would have noticed.
The tables were so close together too the waiters/waitresses couldn’t even get between them.
I’ve been to Pregos a lot, don’t know what’s happened. May think twice in future and such a shame as the food is lovely.

Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Gemma’s service was exceptional. Good was delicious. It’s great there are staff to play with the children on a Sunday. Means you can sit and relax and have a drink.
