First time at 47 Grains for me the other evening and I was pleasantly surprised after remembering the good old days when it was the Black Swan. A good range of beers were available from downstairs at Miller's Bar, whilst the quality of food was excellent. All of the waiting team were very professional and attentive. One of our party had a food allergy and a particular member of staff took time to make sure exactly what his requirements were, and what options they could offer. One of the dishes was modified to suit. We weren't made to feel that this was in any way a hassle for them either. Happy to return next time I'm over Brighouse way, and I'd definitely recommend.

Cannot recommend 47 grains enough , it's a hidden gem. On each visit staff have been extremely welcoming and so knowledgable about the restaurant and menu it's self. Overall service couldn't have been any better. Every course on every visit has been outstanding and full of flavour with each dish presented beautifully. 47 grains is my favourite restaurant and I can't wait for next time!!

A great addition to the dining options in Brighouse. The location is above Millar's Bar using a separate entrance on your left when facing the pub. Warmly welcomed, tempting range of cocktails on offer at good value prices. Food and wine were very good but what sets this apart was the fabulous friendly service from a dedicated young team. Only open limited days/times at present but looking to expand that further. We hope they do!

Home now feeling replete after 3 plates of lush food. Delightful filo parcel of caramelised leek & camenbert,Shin beef melted in the mouth and was full of flavour. A finally a portion of deliciously ribsticking Christmas pud. Thank you chefs,it was enjoyable indeed. Our thanks to Ben & team for excellent service.

I visited as one of a party of about 30. The main course of beef was tender and very tasty. My sticky toffee pudding was absolutely lovely too. I would eat there again.
