Incredibly lovely food, atmosphere and service. A little expensive but the quality is well worth it. The set meals offered on the menu seem to be more cost effective. Will definitely come again.
Six of us ate here last Friday evening, the restaurant was fairly empty, but the food was really good, and the service from the lady front of house was first class. Really enjoyable.
Great food, very tasty indeed. Recommend the Pak Far Rolls for sure! When dining in on a weekday, it’s great. The hostess is lovely and she’s very good at her role(s). The problem is there’s only one of her, so if you dine in at the weekend it’s quite awkward - you don’t want to add to her workload by asking for anything!
Feels like they don’t really want to have a restaurant. If they went all out and hired more staff/updated the restaurant decor and expanded dining tables into the bar area, I’m sure they could be very successful, the food quality and the standard service is all there. As it is, it’s a solid 4 stars.

Exceptional service and amazing value for money. My partner and I were in Brighouse on business and came in here for dinner. June the lady that looked after us was absolutely lovely and so so attentive, nothing was too much. The only problem we have is that we live too far away to be able to come here again.
Short staffed but the lady in front of house was excellent she never stopped but was very efficient and had a smile on her face .delicious food and great experiences. Thanks
Wonderful service. The woman serving us was incredibly polite and accommodating to my slightly awkward order. She kept making sure we were comfortable, even down to checking the music wasn't too loud.
The food was amazing. I really enjoyed the salt and pepper chicken, vermicelli and hong kong duck.
The prices were incredibly reasonable especially considering portion size.
We will certainly go again.
I started going to Golden Sea since 2017 - food is always fresh and hot with decent portion sizes. Take out is also cooked fresh and hot, the only negative is that delivery is not an option. Most dishes I have tried so far were delicious, with a couple of things I was not too keen on (personal preference). So far this is my favourite Chinese restaurant/take out in Brighouse and the only place in Brighouse that does their satay sauce right! Staff is always very friendly and recognises me and my SO everytime we come for a sit in meal or to pick up a take out. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Went with my mate last night first visit. &was very very impressed with not only the generous portions sizes of our respective meals I had the duck in plum sauce &my buddy had sweet n sour pork both of us had chips I also had bamboo shoots with water chestnuts.. the drinks menu was very extensive all very very reasonably priced way cheaper than all over restaurants and the only negatives were not an extensive desert menu at all just fritters with icecream that's it but with food portions been.so generously given didn't want a big heavy desert anyway and the soft drinks menu were quite good but they didn't have pineapple juice on .but the waitress was so friendly and so polite I tipped just 11bquid because the food and the service was well worth the tip given .and her English was very very good her accent was like mine..I hope this restaurant never let's her leave because she was attentive and welcoming..I'll definitely be bk meany times over nxt 5 ten years 4 sure ..I'll just conclude by saying that this Chinese beats all ones in huddersfield and in terms of service even beats the golden dragon in elland and that was Gunna take sum beating but this did.thank u.4 the excellent outstandingly good food and thank you for being so nice and attentive cant wait to go bk
Have been here on the spur of the moment a few times and tried different dishes all of which have been perfectly cooked and presented. Well worth a visit.
