Nice traditional fish restaurant offering a lot more than just that. Great location with plenty of parking available, pay and display, disabled free. Eat in or take away available. The eat-in is my choice, very clean, warm, great tasting food at good value price. Excellent friendly service.
Such a lovely experience. Gorgeous decor and ambience. Wonderful service. Exquisite fish, chips and mushy peas. Couldn’t fit one of their tempting sponge puddings with custard, cream or ice cream in, so I’ll be making sure I’m even hungrier when I go again this week 😋

Came across this place when I was parking up to go to the shops. Lots of parking, polite staff, prices are normal too. I didn't get to see the restaurant as it was nice enough to sit outside, it's by the canal/river too. Fish and chips were tasty too. Its worth visiting, if in the area...
Amazing fish and chips and good prices too!!! Staff are lovely and very helpful!! Can definitely recommend as I now visit here often!! Children's menu is great with several different options such as chicken nuggets, sausages etc as well as a child's fish and chip option. They also offer smiley faces

Been here for the first time as I usually get mine from a chippy (mother Hubbards) in Huddersfield which I thought was the best however the golden hind beats it by miles the fish and chips hear are absolutely amazing and the price is a bargain, i will certainly be travelling from Huddersfield to ge

So lovely, food was amazing, fish tender and chunky fillet, battered sausage was lovely, chips and scraps omg just perfect. Family loved it all. Amazing value too, lovely customer service. Thanks for a great experience. We will be back defo!

Battered haddock, chip's and mushy peas for me and steamed haddock for the better half, loved it, and was delicious, good old cafe/restaurant, pleasant staff.
Car Park needs sorting and got lost on trying to get back to our hotel/Inn but that ain't there fault, totally recommend.
Good 3 course seniors deal for under a tenner but the starters weren't appealing to me. I'd prefer something like a small bit of homemade pate and some baguette or bits of toast. Fish and chips fabulous and pud like you'd get at school
