Extremely good both service and quality. I put he'd up, ordered, nipped across the road to Sainsbury's, it was ready pretty much as soon as I returned. Didn't have so far to take it tonight, it was blisteringly hot, tasted divine, plus I was given a couple of chapattis I wasn't expecting, brilliant. Wholly recommended, Phil.

Just had the most amazing curry from here. Massive portion enough for two . Comes with extras and sauces come in a foil tray so lots rather than in little plastic containers. Ordered off just eat and arrived ten mins early. Shocked by all negative reviews .

Very good quality food with subtle flavours. Good vegetarian choices. Charming, interesting staff. Nothing overstated just good. Reasonable prices.

The wife and myself have eat here a number of times and never had a bad meal. The set meal is great value, not like other restaurants where you get smaller size meals.

Why this place isn't packed out can only be because it needs a better heating system. The food is great! Unfortunately, early doors means you will find it a cold place and empty, which is a shame. We were the only people in the place on a Thursday evening, early, nevertheless the meal was spot on. Owner please note, warm the place up

What a delightful place. An abundance of pleasant attentive staff efficient but not in your space. Now it really gets good Dolmades with a basket of flatbread. Stifado most tender and tasty with real sauteed potatoes (I wish I had kept the leftover flatbread to mop up the sauce). I had to there was no option warm baklava and turkish coffee to give me time to rest awhile and write this review. If you are in the area get in here yummmmmm

The best curry house in Brighouse. Was initially put off by some negative reviews but these turned out to be completely baseless. Perhaps even the best curry I’ve had in West Yorkshire.

Traditional old school food starters not upto much but main course fantastic. Excellent value for money will definitely return.

Surprised to find an Indian restaurant in Brighouse, but there it was. And hungry we were.
Good service, reasonably full.
Also one of the worst tasting Lamb Vindaloo.

Excellent Service. I went to the Bengal recently with my family. From outside it does not really look like a restaurant but once you're inside its good and acceptable. The front house waiter service was excellent. We were greeted warmly and with a nice smile. We were offered drinks and poppadoms. The manager took our order and advised us about the food. I must say that the guys and the management made us very comfortable. We tried the Bengal Brasserie starter for 2 people which was great. It came on a sizzler pipping hot. We also had Chicken Pakora, Sheek Kebabs and Onion Bhajis. I must comment that the Onion Bhajis were huge, never seen anything like em and they tasted great aswell. Chicken Pakora's was o.k but the Sheek Kebab, unfortunately was not up to standard! The kebabs was like rubber. The main course that we had was Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Chilli Masala and Chicken Tikka Shahslik. All were very nice curry's. Out of the three I must say that the Shashlik was the best. I must also comment that visiting the Bengal is very cheap in view of other competitors. We will surely be going back there again.
