Review The Brewers Arms - Brightlingsea

The rooms were pretty standard, clean could do with new carpets but for a one night stay pretty comfortable. The pub had a drum and bass night on for Halloween took me back to my 20s 🤣 quiet enjoyed the atmosphere and the locals were pretty welcoming. Thanks

Very friendly pub and B&B in the town centre and a short walk to the harbour. Good range of beers available and the rooms are very comfortable. Benefits from an on-site car park which felt safe and secure.

Me and 2 friends spent 4 nights here this week and we had a great stay. Julie is a very good host and was responsive to several special requests we had. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The pub is well-run with younger bar staff who were friendly and capable. It was good to see it busy and attracting a cross-generational crowd who are also friendly. Happy hour from 17:00-18:00 with pints at £3. From what I saw, Brightlingsea is a lovely town and I hope to return again soon to explore it properly.

This pub was open on a sunny day in April. New lad Casey conducted table service, was prompt, polite and efficient in getting us beers and crisps. Though they're not offering a full service at present it was a good start to the new-normal and we'll definitely be back again. Thank you and good luck.

The people are so friendly and the pub food is delicious especially the roast is to die for. Again I am here a month later and brought the good weather too!! Sunday roast of pork which was succulent and the Yorkshire pudd we asked for a step ladder as it was so big but delicious , am stuffed as the portions are big and well worth the price.

Sunday! Only Sunday Roast available but not bad. Good size portions. Plenty of veg and nice horseradish sauce.
