Really top notch curry – have visited in the past and been less impressed, but the new management have really lifted the bar. Veggie mains & sides were fantastic and we appreciated the warm welcome when we popped into order. Best Indian in Brightlingsea without a doubt!
Great food…. Really enjoy their currys .. quick service.. really nice staff.. even got a couple of free Budweiser bottles… thank you, we always get our take-Away from here when visiting our family .. my fav Indian in brightlingsea
Excellent food, our group of 5 all enjoyed their meals and each of us would go back more often if we lived closer. Staff were rushing around quite a bit but still provided good service.
Manager gave me and my whole family a free taster as a starter and an amazing main curry, mwah 👌

Took my parents here on Mothers Day. Food was delicious with good quality vegetarian options. Took food home as didn't want to waste any. Staff were very friendly Seperate male/female toilets. Wish there was a vegetarian starter platter as the vegetable samosas only come as 2. So delicious wanted more. Meat platter had more options.
The second time here, food is really tasty, good service good atmosphere.

Food is always amazing, been going here for years and never let us down. Imran is always incredibly friendly and will take care of you, especially if your eatting in the restaurant. If your considering going to the Raj you will not be disappointed.

Friendly and welcoming. Food was very well cooked and seasoned - lovely balti dishes with decent spice. Much more delicious and soulful than standard takeaway/curry house, good value too.

I have rated this Restaurant 5 stars as the food was amazing. All five of us chose different meals and none were disappointed. However one particular member of staff was quite offhand which did dampen the atmosphere somewhat.
