Everything you’d want in a little cafe - fantastic atmosphere, strong coffee and amazing food.
The cafe is small but has a good mix of larger and smaller tables (6 seemed like the max). The service is friendly but a little slow sometimes.
The food here was amazing. The hash with melted cheese and the toppings was out of this world. Exactly what you’d need to start a day. Very big portions that are very filling.
Highly recommend
A really lovely place that’s been here a long while, and for good reason. The food is great. They do a lovely hash, that’s kinda their ‘thing’. There’s plenty of it, it’s well cooked and decent quality. The people serving are lovely, the place is lovely and clean. It’s highly recommended by me.
Food was great and very tasty. We loved it and very much filling. We had their special and that definitely is their specialty. Even toasted bread was much nicer than average. Service could have been better and they could look after customers a bit more but nothing crazy.
We used to dine in this place for years but gotta say today’s experience was the best we’ve ever had, food was amazing, farmhouse hash was unreal so had to ask for one more for takeaway and went downstairs to the kitchen to thank the chef for the lovely meal we had, the best breakfast and brunch in brighton , thank you so much billies and we’ll definitely be back again and again
This place is special. I've walked past it many times on my way home and it's always packed. So on my day off I decided to head there. Boy I was not disappointed. We opted to go for the hash. I had the farmhouse and my girlfriend had the Irish. Both were amazing, well cooked and filled us up for the whole day. The staff were super friendly and my girlfriend had the best mocha she had ever had there. I would say the only down point was the table layout, little bit cramped.
A really great place for a top quality breakfast and the prices are really reasonable as well.
Very pleased to visit Billie’s after a gap of - I kid you not - over 35 years. I have fond memories of coming to a cafe on this spot when it was called Billabong in the early 1980s. And it’s still great! I had a very delicious plate of hash brown potatoes with salsa etc (the rancheros dish) which was very tasty and nice and hot. It was a lovely sunny morning and the cafe was bright and airy and a lovely place to sit. So pleased there is still a nice cafe here with delicious food and very pleasant and attentive staff. Definitely recommended. And lived up to all my happy memories although obviously it must be different people running it or maybe even it’s not even the same place and I’m old and confused lol
Excellent food service n the ambience. Lovely staff very helpful and accommodating
We had a lovely breakfast! The staffs were friendly. When you get inside, you get that homey kind of feeling.
The food here is AMAZING, I personally love the swiss egg dish.
Portions are huge so definetely can be shared if you are not super hungry.
The space is quite small so there isn't much space but other than that I recommend it so much as have been a few times
I've had both dine in and delivery from Billie's Brighton and the food is next to none. The eggs are always cooked to perfection, the bacon, sausage and hash browns are the best in Brighton and I'd happily have the avocado toast for every meal for the rest of my life. Currently working my way through the entire menu, but I'd highly recommend the Eggs Royal or the Jumbo Meat. There's plenty of tasty vegetarian/vegan options also, and the staff have always been more than happy to customise dishes to my liking.
Billie's is my go-to for breakfast/lunch, and if they were open in the evening it would be for dinner too. Great service, very friendly staff and a lovely spot in a good location.
Found this cute little 50’s inspired cafe on google, it had such good reviews and it didn’t disappoint! Super cozy and welcoming atmosphere, huge menu card, great value for money - I could not decide what I wanted most, so I asked them if they could make my favourite breakfast: poached eggs on avocado toast served with their special hash browns. YUMMY!
Unpretentious cafe that serves proper portions of very good home cooked food. Had the all day vegan and left full to the brim😃
What a delicious and filling breakfast! Their options are plenty and all look pretty damn good. We had to queue up a bit and wait but it was a Saturday and it was definitely worth it
A little pricey, but really good healthy and hearty cafe food. A fruit tea, eggs Benedict and home-made hash browns was £8.70 for me. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Great little cafe, Farmhouse Hash was tasty and plentiful! Lovely service and nice cosy feel.
It's not a greasy spoon but the fried breakfasts are a bit different if you want to be adventurous. We had two farm house breakfasts with melted cheese on top. A traditional English and sausage sandwich and drinks £45 30. Quirky but worth the visit
