Basketmakers Arms - Brighton - Photo album

Great pub with excellent food and beer. We popped in on a Monday evening and were lucky enough to get a table so we could eat as well. We had the toad in the hole and vegetarian pie and chips and both were fantastic. Beer and Ale also passed the test as there was a good variety. The pub was packed w
What a delightful, authentic Pub in the heart of Brighton. Sunday roast was super delicious and worth every penny. đź‘Ť Very busy, so glad we booked! Super friendly & efficient staff. A true Gem!
One of the best pubs I’ve been to. Was the end of our London > Brighton cycle and after a wet finish it was just what we needed. Sad that they didn’t have fish and chips on a Sunday but we had the chef special honey glazed ham roast instead. Which was 10/10 EXCEPT the roast potatoes which as my frie
Was recommended this place by a friend and it was absolutely perfect. We wanted a 'local pub' vibe and got exactly that! Lovely drinks and although we didn't eat, the food looked amazing! Will be going back next time we visit Brighton .
Visited for a Sunday roast. Well priced for sirloin and lamb shank meals, decent drink offering and nice atmosphere. Also dog friendly!
Another little cute artsy drinking spot in Brighton full of English beers and beers from around the world. Very quaint and nicely designed, staff so lovely it was a pleasure to sit and chill with you guys on a hot day over a cold beer! Cheers!
Went for drinks only - why? I _love_ cask ales - and The Basketmakers Arms is frankly the top place in Brighton to go if you want a decent selection of well kept cask ales. I was not dissappointed. The pub is gorgeous! The layout is fun and original - clearly old in a very good way. The atmosphe
I don’t live in Brighton but someone recommended me to go to this pub and it was a lovely find! The food and beer selection was great, but in particular we really like the decor inside! Check this place out!
Really lovely pub. Reasonably priced at ÂŁ5.20 for an Amstel. Great to see it full before midday as well on the Saturday I visited.
Nica local pub with warm atmosphere. Fuller’s ales are good especially Pacific Pale Ale. Plenty of dishes make good combo with ales
Punished a hearty and delicious Sunday roast and real ale as the summer evening sunshine striped through the old windows. This pub is brimming with character and oddities and its low ceiling and carpeted interior creates a snug atmosphere. Relatively off the beaten track and safe from the seedy Brig
Stopped for a Saturday lunchtime snack and a beer. Great atmosphere and quite busy and service was still very good, staff very helpful and friendly. Food was good.
One of my favourite pubs in Brighton. Cosy with great beers, great food and great service. I just visited for a couple of pints and also ordered a meal - Tikka lamb chops with Bombay potatoe (but not how you'd expect them). Absolutely amazing! It was delicious!!
I have been coming to this pub for about twelve years since I started working in Brighton for a while. In all that time, I have never had a bad pint, anything less than lovely food, a bad word from staff or any kind of bad experience in there. This time I took some local friends as a thank you. The
Cracking little pub, I wish I lived near here, would definitely be my regular
Nice pub for a beer and a chat, food was ok but not brilliant. Seems like a pub for the atmosphere rather than gastro experience...
Lovely little pub. brilliant food paired with brilliant service, the staff are all lovely, Highly recommended.
