Had a delicious Sunday roast, reasonable price too! The pork was very tender (could taste the cider apple in it) and my friend's beef perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly too and a nice cosy atmosphere
The staff were really nice and they had a good choice of beers.
We had a fabulous Sunday Lunch here! The staff are really friendly, the food is fabulous and the atmosphere is great! We loved the outdoors area in particular, especially when the sun is shining enjoying a nice refreshing pint of cider or wine! A hidden gem! A cool place to go in Brighton!
Small pub with a large garden area in the heart of the south lanes. Plenty of craft beers available as well as your normal array of drinks. The outside area is really great, sheltered with heaters so perfect all year round.
We went for a very late lunch here on a weekday. It wasn't very busy and our order was taken quickly by the friendly girl at the bar. Apparently evenings and weekends are busy. The pub has a pleasant, but simple decor and it has a comfortable ambience. The food arrived after about twenty minutes, se
Great little pub with a friendly atmosphere. The Sunday roast was superb, the pork belly was amazing and the beef really succulent.
Decent pub, beer a bit too big brand. Great staff who were welcoming.
Just drinking. Lovely bar team, not the most salubrious of surroundings. Nice and busy on a Friday
Only stopped for a quick drink on our way to dinner but a good little pub with a nice selection of beers and helpful friendly staff
Great place to share with friends, drink beers and have a chat. There is a place for smokers or for the ones that like to enjoy fresh air once inside.
Great selection of beers, good food from The Pickled Oyster and friendly staff. The terrace and therefore current Covid, outdoor space at the back is well done, with a retractable roof and ‘garden walls’. Rather chilly however decent heaters. Easily our favourite central Brighton pub.
Bar staff here are so lovely and the food was unbelievably good. Classic pub food but with really interesting twists and bold flavours. Came for a meal with a big group of friends and the first words out of everyone’s mouth after the first bite was “wow” and then pure silence after that. Highly reco
We went to Shuffle after a meal for my birthday. The bar tenders were great and good fun. We managed to go on a night where it was 241 cocktails which was brilliant. The theme of the bar with you being able to pick the music was good but the selection itself was a bit limited but maybe it will expan
Dog friendly pub with great atmosphere food and drinks. I visited with a group of 4 people and we had our friends dog. We had a Saturday evening meal and the menu was superb. Good choice for vegetarian and meat eaters. I had haddock with mash potatoes and veg and it was delicious. Great atmosphere n
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The gin is excellent and the bar is quite lovely. I'd definitely recommend this place (especially since all the other bars in the street are very low end).
Delicious Sunday roast, and Super Mario 64 on the N64. What more could you want. Really lovely pub, staff very friendly and food delicious. Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely traditional Sunday roast and all the trimmings at this nice cozy and welcoming pub. The Bloody Mary was also excellent and finely balanced with the right level of spice! 👌
