Great Food, great coffee and lovely staff. It’s almost a shame it’s that good because I refuse to go anywhere else in Brighton. And I imagine there are many other gems like this.

We had Harissa Egg Benedict and Coho breakfast. I’m disappointed about eggs that needs to be runny when you have Egg Benedict. They did hard egg on that. Coho Breakfast was just alright. Bacons was overcooked. Beans were not juicy. Flat white coffee was amazing.

The French toast was sensational! My sister had the smoked salmon eggs benedict and didn't like the raw-ish texture of the salmon

What a delightful surprise it was to stumble upon this place while walking around in search of a breakfast spot. It was one of the few establishments open early in the morning, and I'm so glad I decided to give it a try. On my first visit, I ordered the French toasts, and they turned out to be the best ones I have ever had. The taste, texture, and overall presentation were simply exceptional. I was so impressed by the quality of the French toasts that I couldn't resist coming back the next day for another culinary adventure. During my second visit, I opted for the Turkish eggs, and while they were delicious in their own right, I must confess that I still find myself daydreaming about those delectable French toasts. They were truly a memorable culinary experience that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. Not only did this place offer outstanding food, but the overall experience was also enjoyable. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It's always a pleasure to dine in an establishment where the service complements the fantastic food. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a remarkable breakfast experience. Whether it's the irresistible French toasts or other enticing dishes on the menu, this place knows how to create culinary masterpieces that leave a lasting impression.

This little gem of a coffee shop is perfect if you’re an early riser as they are one of the few coffee shops to open at 7am in Brighton. Coffee was strong and tasty. Staff and customers were lovely and the decor is quirky and cool. If I lived in Brighton, this would be my every day cafe. Reminds me of the small coffee shops of Old Quebec where I grew up.

Wow what great food! I can not fault it in anyway, all the choice looked delicious too so I’ll definitely be coming back to try something else. There is plenty of seating which I wasn’t expecting (upstairs, back area, front area and outside) , I came at 9am and it was very easy to find a table. So I ordered the avocado and edamame smash but I added an egg. Delicious, full of flavour with the feta and chilli. However my matcha green tea was very disappointing, I could tell that it wasn’t good grade matcha and there was just so much milk to matcha ratio. The breakfast sandwich my friend had was equally as delicious and the brioche bread was perfectly soft. The fry up my other friend ordered was nice. I wish I ordered something from their counter, it looked great.

I am very happy I visited coho and here are the reasons: The Staff was excellent, very kind and fast, 3 different members of staff helped us either by taking an order for the table or bringing extra water. Everyone simply kind. The food: It was great! I included pictures. Me and my gluttonous friends decided to get a dish for each and then an extra for the table as we all wanted to try the Coho French Toast. I am very happy with the food. The eggs had the perfect egg yolk (for me) and I know people can be tough to satisfy when it comes to it and the French toast was amazing. The menu has all the classic options for Brunch. There’s also a backyard that’s outside and we didn’t know about it until after we left but it looked beautiful for a sunny day! Highly recommend this place, especially for the great service. It’s opposite Hixon Green that despite having good food has awful service. I am very happy and can’t wait to go again!

We stopped by for a coffee and chait latte and a treat. Drinks were good, staff was friendly. We decided to go for peanut butter brownie, which tasted good, but was a bit thick and would have been better if it was more moist or spongy.

Impressive veggie breakfast and a great portion size. Delicious. The speed of food arriving and friendliness of staff when they were fully busy is impressive. A lot of places nearby could learn from this! I can’t believe I have never been here before - but I’ll more than make up for that in the future.
