This restaurant has been in Brighton for many years. Living in Brighton myself, this restaurant has always consistently delivered great food at a good price.
Located opposite The Dome and a few yards away from The Theatre Royal, this restaurant is geared up for fast service but with quality and professional friendly staff.
The quality of the food here is exceptional, especially considering the price (£13.50 for starter and main course plus service charge). Probably very hard to beat this for the quality of food and price in central Brighton.
I do recommend the Pinocchio pizza!
Even if you dislike pasta or pizza, they do have a supplementary menu that offers alternatives at an extra cost such as chicken, squid and pork all prepared Italian style.
Constructive criticism: dining tables and most chairs are tired and worn out which gives a poor first impression, especially when seated at the table.
Quality of food is usually good but has become slightly inconsistent in the past 18 months from writing this review.
To conclude, this has to be a definite place to visit when in Brighton.
I do recommend it.

We've been to Italian restaurants all over the UK, but are yet to find one as good as here.
What's great about Pinocchio'sis that the food has consistent quality every time. When you order here you know what to expect and the food always tastes fantastic.
The staff are always so helpful and friendly and we've never been turned away, even if we forgot to book.
Whatever you eat, you're bound to be delighted. So don't hesitate, visit today.

Sister restaurant of Donatello serving Italien classics like pasta and pizza. Portion sizes are generous and their 2 or 3 course set menu prices are still good value for money.
Service is fast and you usually don’t have to wait too long.
Overall a solid Italien experience but in terms of flavour it’s just very average.

Very polite staff with fast service. Large space of seating which leaves us more privacy and nice interior. Delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. Best for every occasion whether it’s a date or a family lunch or a friendly gathering suits everyone.

We saw the good reviews and booked a table though at the early time we ate (midday) on a Monday we probably didn't need to! We had a nice inside table by the windows and our orders were taken quickly. Our eldest is 11 and therefore she was given an adult menu, she probably could have done better with the kids menu!
Food came quickly after we ordered. We had some garlic bread to share for starters then pizzas and a kids pasta dish for our 8 year old. The pizzas were delicious, with really generous toppings. We went to Naples in April and so now we always compare our pizzas with the ones we had there, and these were really excellent, though the dough was very different the toppings were delicious. Youngest enjoyed her tomato pasta but did feel a bit sick already so couldn't manage it all. Also it would be helpful if the kids menu was clear on whether there is cheese on the pasta or not, though when I went to ask the staff they were very helpful and made sure there was no cheese!
Overall a really lovely place to have lunch in the centre of Brighton, would completely recommend - especially if you have kids who enjoy good Italian food!

This is my favourite Brighton restaurant! Been coming for many years! Why? Because it fantastic value. Great food, Amazing terrace for people watching! Always a table available.. vibrant up beat environment but most of all it’s the staff.. They are wonderful! Lead by Olga who is So Amazing!! She always welcomes me and makes me feel cared for and special which means so much to me. She’s attentive, intuitive and incredibly lovely! I will always come back even if it’s just to say Hello to Olga! But really you can’t go wrong if you make a visit! Thank you Olga & Team as you’re always working so hard for us. It’s very much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Do like it here and been coming for years. Despite being in the centre of the tourist mayhem it still provides a bit of authenticity. The proper Italian servers were absent on my visit and the service lacked accordingly- awkward order taking and no check back (really?) or chance to get more drinks (leaving customers with empty glasses??). But, still love it and unlike my earlier memories here there are actual marked Vegan options and yes vegans can have something beyond the normal tomato pasta that we are dumped with. The fresca was excellent.
So it's still good, not perfect today at all but still special to us

Fantastic food, for a family meal. They sat us upstairs, which was rather noisy at the start but I would avoid lunchtime rush for quiet. Our booking was at 2.30. Waiting staff were friendly and chatty. The food was delicious, as always. Prices were reasonable too. Gluten free pasta available which was ideal for myself. Vegetarian options too. Overall a lovely experience.

Visited twice at the weekend just gone (that's how good this place is). Took a different group in each time and the food was incredible. The price is good and the quantity is what you expect from a Italian like this.
We visited when it was very busy and were in no rush on the Friday so had a lovely leisurely meal. Saturday was more urgent however (after completing London to Brighton) and the service was very fast.
The decor was also excellent and all staff members that we interacted with were friendly.
I would come here again for sure. Thankyou to the Pinocchio team for such a good experience.

Only been here once , came across this cute little restaurant with my other half. The food was delicious and the service from the staff was very fast, efficient and they were lovely and welcoming! The atmosphere was good also, it was busy but not to busy! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves along with us! The price for the quality of food was great also along with the time for it to come out!!
I will definitely be back again to try out more of their menu.

Went here for my birthday dinner, amazing vibe, make sure to book or reserve a table. Once dinner is done, step outside and if you are lucky, you will hear someone doing a music piece and you can grab a drink from the pubs in front, a have a night with your girlfriends or a dance around with your boyfriend.

An independent Italian restaurant right by the Dome, a very convenient location for a pre-show dinner. I'd recommend booking: we showed up without one and were offered to wait for a table for 10 minutes, which worked fine for us. Popular with families so fairly noisy, but pleased to find there wasn't any loud background music to shout over.
Food arrived promptly and was of good quality, but my friend thought her pizza base was a bit tough. For a gluten free main one can have pasta with a wide variety of sauces, but it's a pity they no longer offer a non-gluten pizza base.

Big portions, helpful staff, and a brilliant location!
We had mocktails and I loved them both! Nice and sweet, and brilliant to sit and watch the world go by.
Pizza was great too! Portions were a bit too big for me, but I gave it my best!
Overall I do recommend this place! Bit make sure you've got room for everything you order!

Well, what can I say...... food was amazing, staff were great, price was really good and the restaurant ticked all the boxes! Only thing I’d say..... don’t order the extra large helpings, my god the amount of food on the plate is unreal. At least I now know for next time!

We brought our regional union delegation here on a Saturday during our congress and the staff were amazing, there were 21 of us all needing separate vat receipts and they sorted everything with great efficiently. The staff are great the food is fantastic and great value for money
