Well, what can I say...... food was amazing, staff were great, price was really good and the restaurant ticked all the boxes! Only thing I’d say..... don’t order the extra large helpings, my god the amount of food on the plate is unreal. At least I now know for next time!
We brought our regional union delegation here on a Saturday during our congress and the staff were amazing, there were 21 of us all needing separate vat receipts and they sorted everything with great efficiently. The staff are great the food is fantastic and great value for money
Excellent Italian food - we had pizza and pasta and was delicious with generous portions. Tiramisu to end the lunch was just awesome. Ample seating and nice central location. Service is warm and efficient. Fair no if vegetarian options, Prices are good value. Toilets were clean.
We don't visit this restaurant often as we usually visit Donatello instead, but fancied something a little more intimate and romantic. However, we went at the wrong time as we faced the pre-theatre crowd. Despite this, service was mostly still good, although they were clearly rushed off their feet, and the food was still superb!!
Left Pinnochios feeling very satisfied - a three meal course for under £20, and the portions were not small! Nievh served us and was so friendly and helpful!
I loved it! The best Pasta in the entire UK !!! Excellent quality, taste, service, price and any chance you need you can have to! I highly recommend!
This restaurant has been in Brighton for many years. Living in Brighton myself, this restaurant has always consistently delivered great food at a good price.
Located opposite The Dome and a few yards away from The Theatre Royal, this restaurant is geared up for fast service but with quality and professional friendly staff.
The quality of the food here is exceptional, especially considering the price (£13.50 for starter and main course plus service charge). Probably very hard to beat this for the quality of food and price in central Brighton.
I do recommend the Pinocchio pizza!
Even if you dislike pasta or pizza, they do have a supplementary menu that offers alternatives at an extra cost such as chicken, squid and pork all prepared Italian style.
Constructive criticism: dining tables and most chairs are tired and worn out which gives a poor first impression, especially when seated at the table.
Quality of food is usually good but has become slightly inconsistent in the past 18 months from writing this review.
To conclude, this has to be a definite place to visit when in Brighton.
I do recommend it.
Really nice atmosphere, staff friendly and prompt. Food was fairly good too at a very decent price.
Had the best experience here! The food was soo good with big portions, and it was very affordable as well! We had the 3 course meal set for only £16. Definitely recommend!
Very polite staff with fast service. Large space of seating which leaves us more privacy and nice interior. Delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. Best for every occasion whether it’s a date or a family lunch or a friendly gathering suits everyone.
Pinocchio's never disappoints. The food is amazing, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
We've been to Italian restaurants all over the UK, but are yet to find one as good as here.
What's great about Pinocchio'sis that the food has consistent quality every time. When you order here you know what to expect and the food always tastes fantastic.
The staff are always so helpful and friendly and we've never been turned away, even if we forgot to book.
Whatever you eat, you're bound to be delighted. So don't hesitate, visit today.
Sister restaurant of Donatello serving Italien classics like pasta and pizza. Portion sizes are generous and their 2 or 3 course set menu prices are still good value for money.
Service is fast and you usually don’t have to wait too long.
Overall a solid Italien experience but in terms of flavour it’s just very average.
Really good Value for money - esp as it's in the centre of town!
Great pizza and garlic bread and the puddings were amazing!!!!!
Looked super busy, but they have a big upsatirs area which is really nice and quieter!
My husband and I had a great meal, good value for money, staff friendly.
Only one complaint,we ordered a Rose`wine and we had a White wine brought to the table we did question it,but the lad that served us said its what we ordered, but we know it absolutely was not. So rather than cause a scene we went with it.
Stumbled across this rustic classic Italian restaurant in Brighton with a friend. Honestly it’s massive inside, the staff are so friendly and authentic, our server Claudia was so attentive and lovely and gave us such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back!
Had a lovely lunch with friends, service and atmosphere were great. Food very tasty and reasonably priced. Be warned, share the tiramisu because it's enormous!! :)
Popped in for a quick late lunch. Friendly and quick service. I ordered the tagliatelle aurora (tomato, creme, and parmesan cheese) and it was very tasty, if a little overcooked.
Great pasta and a Taylor Switch playlist, what more can a girl need!
We saw the good reviews and booked a table though at the early time we ate (midday) on a Monday we probably didn't need to! We had a nice inside table by the windows and our orders were taken quickly. Our eldest is 11 and therefore she was given an adult menu, she probably could have done better with the kids menu!
Food came quickly after we ordered. We had some garlic bread to share for starters then pizzas and a kids pasta dish for our 8 year old. The pizzas were delicious, with really generous toppings. We went to Naples in April and so now we always compare our pizzas with the ones we had there, and these were really excellent, though the dough was very different the toppings were delicious. Youngest enjoyed her tomato pasta but did feel a bit sick already so couldn't manage it all. Also it would be helpful if the kids menu was clear on whether there is cheese on the pasta or not, though when I went to ask the staff they were very helpful and made sure there was no cheese!
Overall a really lovely place to have lunch in the centre of Brighton, would completely recommend - especially if you have kids who enjoy good Italian food!
My food arrived promptly, with the Spaghetti marinara being a highlight. Not to mention to exquisite Torte al Tartufo. For £16.95 for 3 courses, this is incredibly good value! The service was also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for high-quality food and service on a budget.
