We go the large cod fish and chips, calamari and the milkshakes (banana and chocolate). Staff was very nice. I think it’s one of the best fish and chips places in Brighton:)

I walked in and immediately an elderly lady (seemed like a local there) told me that it was the best in town. True enough, the fish and chips were really well done. The fish was tender and fresh but not crumble when you cut it. The chips were also good. The set meal was also affordable and came with a tea.

This restaurant was recommended by a kind young social Whittard saleswoman and we were glad we followed her recommendation. Delicious fish & chips! Staff had quite a busy evening but they did very well to check at our table now and then. We ordered the normal size dishes. Be aware though that a large dish is really big and way too much for one person unless you're very hungry.

I popped into the takeaway side of Bankers after a couple of drinks. We ordered a chicken burger (which was a breaded chicken breast) and a fish cake with a side of chips. It was very yummy indeed! My partner said it was the best fishcake she ever had! I had a bite and it was very nice. Really chunky with nice fish and lots of good potato. The chips had a nice taste of fresh potatoes. Thanks Bankers. We will be back!

Absolutely fabulous chippie right up on the high street. The fish and chips served were excellent.. especially the chips which were just perfect. Cannot recommend this enough if you're looking for a traditional fish and chips. Service is friendly and laid back.

Very nice fish and chips. I don't give 5 stars as one waitress was nice but my friend was not happy with the manners of the other one that is younger and because of the location that is a bit far.

Really nice fish and chips. Bit on the pricey side over the weekend at about £16 for a portion. Weekday deals available. Mushy peas for £3.3 extra seems a lot for what it is. Nice kids menu. Great service friendly staff.

Highly recommended by me. My 3rd stop in Brighton for fish and chips and this was the best I’ve had in brighton. The chips were fantastic, freshly prepared so you do wait a bit, so was the fish(cod). Bigger portions than I expected too. Really good batter and perfectly cooked fish. If you were gona have 1 fish n chips in brighton it should be this 1.

Tasty, quality fish and chips served hot and fresh. We collected and took the food out to eat on the beach. There was a bit of a wait despite no large queue, but worth it for the fresh food. Staff are friendly and the prices are relatively good value. I could take my dog into the collection part which was handy.
