Following by a famous travel website to find the best fish and chips in town, we found this restaurant with sea view and friendly staffs.
I can’t say this is the best fish and chips that I’ve ever tried, nothing impressive except for the seafood are really fresh!

The service was nice, the food was good for the price. The decoration inside could be improved but you have the seaview, which is nice (at least when the weather is not rainy and foggy). So yes, it's a good place to eat, especially
Great place to enjoy fresh and tasty sea food with warm and kind staff to attend to your sea food needs. The waitress even went above and beyond to prepare a delicious mocktail which was not offered on the menu.
Solid food, we only had mussels and some pita with hummus but that all tasted good, the service was nice and quick. We were lucky enough to be here in the sun in late march and wow what a cozy time we had.
Opposite i360. Nice food. My favourite are the scallop and the oyster - the garlic butter was excellent! Although at first we were told there was no lobster left for the hot seafood platter and they were ready to replace it with crab and reduce the price, somehow they manage to get us a half lobster

This place is fantastic. Good value and excellent quality food and drink. I had a half litre carafe of the house white and it was beautiful. The view was excellent and the staff are friendly and polite. I really enjoyed eating here. I heartily recommend it.

Very big portion sizes and great value for money! The owners still in the restaurant ( apparently for last 50 years ) and atmosphere is a bit dated but you get fresh fish and seafood at a great price directly at the seafront!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant highly recommend, the food was fantastic along with the weather the young lad who looked after us all afternoon could not do enough for us 10/10 thank you to you all at Melrose
I have no idea what others are talking about. This place is fantastic and great service. I will absolutely be back and I promise they will not disappoint. Cleaned my plate and I am hard to please.
