Having eaten here last time on my visit to Brighton I decided to give it another try .
Just like the first visit the food was fantastic and the staff very helpful
We even got talking to the manager and found out he started work in Sutton were we were from ..

Spent many a happy lunch time here and the food and staff are consistently five star! High quality, fresh, delicious food, reasonably priced and served hot and without having wait ages. The staff are friendly, efficient and attentive. We had an early works Christmas party (mid-November) here and they even played Christmas songs for us... much to the amusement of fellow diners!

Ended up here by chance as where we had planned to dine was too busy. What a stroke of luck. The staff were great and the food was absolutely amazing. One of the best meals I have ever had. We eat out often, so I don't say that lightly. Simply fantastic. I had fillet in port sauce, If Franco Baresi were a meal, it would be this. My girlfriend was equally impressed. Will definitely make it a regular when we are in Brighton.
Wonderful Authentic Italian food, amazing lovely staff (the waitress and I think the manager did a little dance when we are there!) fabtastic food great value for money will definitely return again.
Walked in for a last minute booking table of 8, had a great time with great food, waiting staff very friendly and accommodating, even though we too were quite noisy they were very entertaining, singing and banging pans around! Would definitely go back next time we’re in Brighton!
My husband and I had the most delicious meal there last night. Beautifully presented and tasting food! extremely attentive staff! and fantastic, authentic Italian atmosphere! Highly recommend! �

Lovely meal last night, had a blast. It was really busy so there was a wait for the food. obviously pressure was on and the manager was feeling it, but a free bottle of wine and a sincere apology was given. You don't get apologies, very often, and it takes humble pie but deserves massive respect. Would definitely revisit Buon Appetito, you staff work very hard.

I have been to Buon Appetito twice since it opened and I have to say I love it. The menu is great, the food is the best and the staff are lovely and friendly. I wish I was in Brighton more often because it is by far my favourite restaurant

Delicious authentic food at a really reasonable price, service was great, and they found us a table on a Saturday night although we hadnt booked! the only thing I didn't like was the 'discretionary' 10% service charge added on to the bill - I like to leave decide my own tip , in fact I would have left more than was already added on as the service was so good !
Cosy and full of charm this restaurant offers great tasting authentic Italian cuisine. With a wide selection of food and wine, friendly and accommodating stay and great value for money. Highly recommend.
Looking for a quick lunch, we walked in through the open door 10 minutes before opening time. The waitress happily let us sit down to wait while she finished getting ready.
It felt like only minutes after placing our food order that we received our meals, and considering the price (£3 for a pizza or a pasta dish, when ordered with a drink, or £4 for takeaway), the meals were huge. Added bonus - they were also delicious.
Would definitely visit again for another lunch if I was in the area.

This was the best Italian restaurant I have ever visited. My family and I came to Brighton for one day and were very hungry in the evening, looking for a place to eat in. Obviously, most restaurants did not have tables, but this one did, which made us really happy.
The waiters were so friendly! They spoke Italian and I learned a few words :) They were very patient, listening to everyone from my family and provided a great service overall. An important thing — the food was really nice, and made us want to return there again! Thank you so much for brightening our day.

We haven't had a restaurant experience like it in quite some time. The dishes we had were great quality, nicely portioned and inexpensive. The wine that our lovely waitress, Julia suggested paired perfectly with our meaty pastas but above all, her service was fantastic! Really fun, smiley and full of personality. Great night out, highly recommended!
A wonderful restaurant with amazing Italian food. We loved it all. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The thing that really stood out was how friendly, welcoming and helpful the staff were. They catered for all our needs and requests and made us feel happy and relaxed throughout.

We had plans to attend a different restaurant but they were full, we continued to walk along and stumbled across Buon Appetito, so happy we couldn't get into that other place. It looked authentic and pleasant. Upon arriving we were greeted with a warm welcome, shown to a table (we didn't pre book) service was excellent and our food was delicious. Pizza was really really good. I'd definitely come back and recommend this place, everything was A* Thank you.
Popped in with my two teenage boys, who were both treated to lots of Italian lingo which they loved. All of us had starters, sourdough great with prawns and paprika, pasta was great after & sweets great. Treated great all night, great little discovery and will return next time in Brighton

Came here for dinner. Food was good. Service was good and friendly ( although I think they were playing on the accent a bit too much...). Price wise it was pretty good for the area it is in (near bottom of me.p town). Would go again probably.
Fantastically fresh food made to order and even changed their menu to make an individual dish specially for me. It was amazing as was the wine but the staff and service was exceptional. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Buon Appetito never disappoints. A great addition to St James St, Brighton. Lovely home cooked style family run Italian restaurant. Great selection of all the favorites of pasta and pizza, but mine is the paprika prawns in a special brandy sauce and melanzane alla parmigiana a rich and satisfying comforting vegetarian dinner dish of aubergines with melted cheese bathed in tomato sauce. Yummy. Wonderful attentive waiters and excellent service. Reasonably priced.
