Love this family run restaurant, never had a bad meal, food is is fantastic and reasonable. The staff are polite friendly and efficient. Would thoroughly recommend.
Have eaten here several times before and keep going back. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced too. The food is always good and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

This is a gem of a place. It has new management and a brilliant chef now who makes Italian taste like Italy! The wine reflects quality and value. Worth a visit if you haven’t been there recently. Ron
Hi there to all the lovely staff. I'd just like to say a HUGE THANK-YOU for giving us such a wonderful evening. Six of us pre-booked and came on Friday the 27th. July at 8pm. We were welcomed by the Manager and shown to our table outside immediately. The Restaurant was busy, but we were attended to straight away. It's a family run Restaurant and we were introduced to them all including the lovely Mama, during the course of the evening. They even brought out a Birthday Cake, though we hadn't mentioned it was someones 65th.Birthday. The Food was great, the atmosphere was great. One could believe we were in Italy, not Brighton. we were spoilt to bits. I'm back in Kenya now, but it's an evening I'll always remember. Thank-you so much for your friendliness and generosity. Travelling solo, went through the door and the manager acknowledged me, took about 3 minutes until someone came and invited me to a table however.
I got handed a menu and once the waiter came back I placed my order and the food came astonishingly quickly and I was very impressed. The same with the mains, I had lasagne and it was delicious.
I skipped dessert because I was full with the first 2 courses so I asked for the bill. I was surprised that there was an additional 10% service charge added, not obviously marked as optional. This seems very weird in England, the staff should be paid well already, I'm getting service because I came to a restaurant so not sure why I pay extra to the already restaurant marked up prices. Very American and no idea why you cant just add the service price in the prices of food. Would make much more sense. I'm happy to give the waiting staff a tip if they did a good job, which they did, but don't ask me for it, or put it on the bill that's just down right cheeky! Was not impressed at this policy and should not be randomly adding charges for things you already expect when going to a restaurant. I'm glad they didn't charge me a cutlery charge for using their knife and fork.
Other than this, it was a positive experience and the food was great. Thanks.
I find the negative views quite baffling. We had dinner there last night and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
The food was very good and the wine was excellent and well served.
We would definitely go there again next time we are in Brighton.
Randomly walked in on a whim as a party of 3 on a Saturday and had pizzas, risottos and Carbonara... Was amazing. Now when we pop down their with who ever we go with we eat here. It's been consistently tasty and I feel reasonably priced especially for the area surrounding. Can't wait to go again.

Waiters including a manager were suprised to see me because i was a tourist from South Korea and it could be a rare occurrence that Asians came to there and had lunch. But in no time they showed kindness. Food was good and a waiter was nice and good. Price is reasonable. BUT Atmosphere was not good. I will recomend all my friends to visit here
Came out of thearter with six friends went in to Zafferelli's the food the service and the staff was a joy,recomend it to any one young or old will defiantly go back
The new owners really make a difference. If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine then you are in the right spot. Pizza and pasta are as good as the one in Rome or Naples. Dont take my word for it, try it for yourself. Great food for a great price!

Gorgeous looking pizza that was thoroughly enjoyed by my Dad, and my favourite Spaghetti Carbonara was delicious.
Relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff made our experience an enjoyable evening.
I love this restaurant - I first came here ten years ago and it I come here every time I visit Brighton. The food is delicious and the staff attentive and friendly. There is an authentic Italian family atmosphere. I'm visiting Brighton next week and will definitely be dining here.
