Quaint and comfy little picture house, great staff and facilities , highly recommend for pure cinema goers!
Love the 2 seater sofa option and extra leg room on all seats and taking in your drinks ( in glasses!)
Really enjoyed my visit here - lovely seats, great cinema and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone!
I had a fabulous experience. First time ever at the Duke of Yorks at Komedia and went to watch a magnificent movie: 'The Shape of Water'. Everything was perfect! Very
My favourite cinema. Super comfy seats, awesome snack and drink choices and mega friendly staff.
Booked the sofa and bought a bottle of wine at the bar to drink during the film. Super comfortable and great experience. No comparison to Odeon et al.
My first beam back experience, love the double seats and beer, tea and cake what more do you need......Wolfworks was breathtaking, perfect venue for this intimate experience.
Consistently great service at Dukes at Komedia, everyone is polite and friendly. Comfortable sofa seats are available in both screens (although the normal seats are also comfortable) and the membership card is worth getting for the free tickets and discounts. Wide choice of films often not showing elsewhere. Thanks.
Excellent venue. Comfortable seats, great bar friendly staff
Very helpful staff. Comfortable & welcoming venue. Pleasant experience.
The best cinema in Brighton, with amazing screens and sound. Their food and drink is ace too.
Great little cinema showing interesting films. Good little bar and you can take your drinks into the film. Picturehouse membership is good value with the opportunity of free tickets cut price tickets and other bonuses.
Absolutely love this cinema - it feels like a proper film lovers cinema. Staff are friendly, snacks are good, seats are comfy, and sound & visuals are excellent.
I hope it’s here forever!
Screen 2 was fine for our film The Holdovers. Didn't buy refreshments or food however. Seat a little soft for films over 2 hrs.
Love this cinema, definitely my favourite one in Brighton. Really comfortable seating, well looked after, great choice of films and really friendly staff.
Very small cozy cinema. The popcorn cost twice the amount of your movie ticket so sneak in your own snacks. Very few bathrooms as well but otherwise a nice place with comfortable seats and good location.
We had a double sofa, the view to the screen was great and very comfortable with enough leg room. Popcorn was tasty, good friendly service at every step (box office, cafeteria, screen entrance) and we really enjoyed the film!
Great old cinema
Nice cafe bar inside
Nice staff
A throwback to the past cinema glory
My favorite cinema in Brighton. Comfortable seats and decent audiovisuals. I just wish they showed older movies more often because 95% of the new movies that play there are trash. I love going to the cinema but it's so rare anything is playing that actually motivates me to spend my money, which is a shame really.
Great atmosphere, nice bar and comfortable seating in the centre of the City
One of the best cinemas in Brighton in my opinion. Small, cosy, no a**holes. Good drink selection and decent priced snack bundles. Blockbusters and offbeat films alike.
Fab homely place to watch the flicks with a gin in hand
Modern cinema space with sofa and extra leg room options. 3D and 2D mainstream or arty experimental and quirky films. Part of the Picturehouse chain so membership, members only viewings, and food and drink discounts available . Bar and comedy offerings too. Love it 😍
I cannot go to a regular cinema any more thanks to the Komedia!! Seats super comfy (single and sofa) great bar, snacks, food downstairs. I love this place ❤️
What a lovely combination, film & bar. On same floor, not to mention exceptional kind staff who didn’t mind me trying a Malbec and Merlot before making my decision. Lovely vibes created by invested staff in making your evening lovely.
Surprisingly not reviewing the cinema but the business acumen of having a ground floor coffee shop with tables an chairs outside. I only stopped to shelter from the rain but the oat milk latte was the best in Brighton. Plus the server was so friendly.
Fabulous quirky venue in the heart of the North
