The Royal Sovereign - Brighton - Photo album

We just drank there to get out of the rain. Lovely at lunchtime with the fire burning on a cold day. Great decor, lots of fun bits on the wall, beautiful old lamp shades over the bar - they look lovely.
We were a little bit skeptical at first as the combination of thai food and pub sounds new to me, however the mango sticky rice we had was top tier of those we’ve had in the UK! Chef is polite and the bartenders are friendly and have a charming smile. Overall I’m satisfied with the visit :)
Had a three day visit to Brighton and stumbled on this pub. From the outside it’s a traditional English pub, but the twist is that it serves great Thai food. They offer a lunch time menu for £6.99 which includes a starter and a main. The food and service is great. They also welcome pets. A big recom
Just dropped in for a pint...after a 🤔 20yr gap?(Nostalgia trip!)...It was quiet,for a friday,but enjoyable!!👍
Very nice traditional pub ! Good selection of beer on tap, good amount of tables and sitting area. There is outdoor garden - looks good but haven’t used it. There was a fire on which creates nice cosy atmosphere, also ordered some Thai food, really tasty and worth recommending
Best Satay Mushrooms. The Green Curry and Pad Thai were also delicious. Great friendly staff (pub & kitchen). We only popped in for a pint - what a wonderful surprise
Spent 3 nights in brighton and spent all 3 nights in the Royal sovereign. Didn't eat so can't comment on food. Had a different singer each night and all three singers were great. Lots of people dancing and atmosphere was terrific. No trouble, just people having a great time. Bar staff were very atte
Lovely pub, serving good Thai food. Enjoyed our evening here, wide range of beers on tap. Live music was good, albeit a bit loud.
Smashing little pub (actually quite big) with decent beers on tap 🍻really nice vibe and a spot on smoking area which is covered and has loads of heaters! Always a bonus in winter. Was fairly lively for a Thursday night so can imagine it would be decent on the weekend. Best pub on the street, will be
They did a really good espresso martini, I was very impressed!! they also had a really decent singer on when we went. It was a saturday evening, pub itself seemed ok
One of the special few that has been around for a while; the Sovereign is a warm, friendly and inviting venue with welcoming staff on hand ready to greet you with a smile and efficiency. Food and drink on offer with a stunning modern urban garden area with seating for plenty. Quite the contrast to t
Love The Sov - seems to get better over time. Great place for after dinner drinks, and the singer on Saturday night was brilliant
Cheeky 0% bottled beer just before close on sunday, sat in beer/smoking out back.. Entrance is up few steps so may cause issue for some. Staff friendly, beer garden lively and well maintained. Can't comment/rate food as it was 30mins before closing on sunday & the bar man was good enough to let us g
Truly excellent Sunday roast with vegetarian and vegan options. Great atmosphere and tasty food, what more could you ask for?
Quirky pub just off the seafront in Brighton, Nice outdoor area and excellent Thai food for lunch at a very good price. Quiet at lunch time so good for business conversations.
Outside it looks like a bit of a hole but don't let that deceive you. A brilliant little pub with fantastic drinks.
Pretty good pub on a vibey street a couple of blocks from the sea. Easy going vibe, mix of different people, plenty of tables, a gas fire in winter, and an outside 'garden' out back, which is popular if a bit lacking in character. Decent range of around 20 beers on tap, including lots of craft beers
