How on earth I missed this little treasure, I do not know! Wholesome, beautifully prepared food. Good sized portions, economically priced. All the usual suspects including a decent sized fry-up. Large pavement-side terrace- great for people watching (weather permitting). Nice calm and arty atmospher
Cos I'm a driver, & I live nearby this cafe, I didn't know of it, but i was instantly impressed with everything, from the space with the 2 rooms, lovely friendly & calm staff, who are efficient too. Tables well laid out, & we had a fairly large group of ladies, & pushed another table together & ther
A truly unique and special place. Great food, nice choices of tea. If you are very lucky you will be served by the beautiful Turkish waitress...who I mistook for Spanish...but she forgave me my mistake. Definitely worth a visit.
Great little local cafe. Food is good I had the Sunshine salad and it was really tasty and fresh. We spent ages there and didn't feel rushed at all.
A great cafe with good food and portion sizes.I recently went into the cafe after falling in the street The young man at the counter, very kindly gave me two bags of ice for my injuries. I then had the opportunity as I recovered to observe Ed,s wonderful people skills he knew peoples names there req
Lovely light and open space with extremely friendly staff. The food was delicious with good sized portions. We went for omelette and avocado on toast with poached egg. They also have high chairs for children. Great coffee too.
This cafe is amazing. Pre lockdown eating there was lovely good value good quality breakfasts! During lockdown it was fantastic to see them reopening for takeaway coffee - great service, very safe and wouldn’t dream of collecting loyalty points from them as small businesses need all the income the
Nice. Kind staff. Generally good atmosphere, slightly spoilt today by arrogant Manchester United supporters crowing about beating Liverpool. Mind you, they have to be arrogant. Confident people don't try to make others feel small.
The staff are always happy and polite. The breakfast is amazing, and it's great coffee.
Cute and cozy coffee. Very friendly people. For the area the prices are very low. Especially considering they serve huge portions and very quality ingredients! Try the chicken sandwich!
Have been coming to this little oasis for years, but hadn’t been for ages. Highly recommended.
Have been having regular visits to the Sunshine cafe for lunch. The service is excellent, the food always fresh and the portions satisfactory. Prices have remained reasonable. The owner and staff always very attentive. Hope will remain as good as has been till now.
Nice, friendly little cafe with a relaxed vibe. This place is more of a breakfast and lunch kind of cafe that does a nice full English, cakes, sandwiches etc, rather than a fancy coffee place that does amazing coffee, not that there's anything wrong with their coffee! Just keep in mind this is a re
Good ambience, friendly staff. My sunshine salad could have done with more roasted butternut squash, only a few tiny cubes. Reasonable prices.
Delicious food and excellent service. A special mention to Ed who went above and beyond to help me and my daughter when we accidentally got locked out of our house.
Really good atmosphere, quick service, excellent coffee, and books and art pieces and books. Come and chill for a couple of hours
Nice tasting coffee for a quick break
