The Verdict Jazz Cafe - Brighton - Photo album

Loved it all I can, the food is superb. The ambiance is brilliant. We all had such a great time listening jazz and dine with my friend and family. Cant wait to visit again.
An awesome venue, with an attentive team. They serve freshly prepared food at a good price, great value drinks and always put on a great show. The music venue is cosy, with table and chairs at the front, and rows of chairs at the back. It's an intimate experience! The sound quality is excellent and
Fantastic venue. We saw Ray Gelato and quartet which were absolutely mind blowing. Well done, keep live music alive 🙏
What an absolutely gem of a venue. Relaxed and friendly but with top notch owners and music. No wonder this venue is one of the top 10 jazz clubs in Europe. I say jazz but there are plenty of other genres of music on show here.
Love this wonderful Jazz club. Atmospheric cellar with bar and cafe on the ground floor. Tremendous programme with top flight jazz artists Friday & Sat plus a jam and a barbeque each week. Workshops too for those that play. It's the centre of jazz in Brighton. Food is tasty, down to earth and afford
My first time at a jazz club and I enjoyed it. It was cosy and small and very friendly.
A real gem of a place. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, the jazz top-notch. We turned up unannounced and unticketed during the intermission after a show we'd booked was cancelled, so wanted to "make up" for the disappointment and make a success of our night out. This club more than s
Fabulous jazz cafe and bar. There’s live music almost every day. Food is simple and delicious and the bar is well stocked (excellent beers). The staff are sooooo good...very friendly and helpful. Grab a bite to eat, get yourself a drink and then downstairs for live music.
What a fabulous night! Booked to see and hear Tony Remy. Man, The place was jumpin! I knew he was one of the best .. and he was. He delighted and thrilled us. His sincere appreciation of us, his audience & his keyboardist and drummer was also lovely. Met 9 friends there .. some their first time at t
Great, intimate venue hosting high quality acts.
Brighton is lucky to have the Verdict. It is a gem. Ticket prices reasonable, a lovely bar, friendly staff and a delightfully intimate basement space. I watched the Andrew McCormack Trio and it was a wonderful thing. Really hope the venue continues to thrive and prosper.
Typically Bella Italia, but what stood this restaurant out from the others in the vicinity was how busy it was on a very wet Wednesday evening. Other restaurants were struggling to make half capacity, this one was full to the brim. The atmosphere was brilliant and the staff helpful.
Absolutely fantastic venue, great music and great food! Acoustics are great for the sound and the decor is just what you want for a jazz venue. Owners are lovely and really take care of you. Can't wait to go back!
Lovely intimate venue - you can tell they're really passionate about supporting musicians. Would definitely go again! Drinks on the pricey side (we paid £24 for two doubles)
Had an absolutely magical time, the vibe of this place is incredible. A must visit for Jazz Lovers. Also the food was delicious and the staff were lovely :)
Superb band - as an aspiring pianist I really enjoyed Gareth Williams' performance on piano although the whole band and singer were superb (Zoe Francis / Jim Mullen). Was a really good sound also and decor was full of nostalgia. The brisket burger for an extra £10 was great. Definitely going again
Being a jazz pianist myself, I can safely say this is the only dedicated venue hosting live music 3 nights a week, Thursday Friday and Saturday. Thursday is the weekly jazz jam session where random players get a chance to perform on a proper stage complete with grand piano. Friday/Saturday bring som
Not very big, but that adds to the atmosphere. Can be hot and sweaty and can be cold when AirCon is on. However, some great bands and musicians.
Great atmosphere; great band; nice food and drink. We've been a couple of times and are sure to go again - perhaps to see the Ant Law Quintet again...
