Fantastic local pub under new management with great new beers and lagers. Food from Fred in the kitchen really delicious and amazing value. Chicken wings, halloumi fries, chicken Milanese etc. get down there as it's a really lovely place to be. And food and beer much better than other pubs in area.

Had a really delicious Sunday roast there today. I had a lovely vegan nut roast while others had the traditional chicken. We all were very happy. Great little local, warm, clean, with fantastic food and friendly welcoming managers. Loaded chips and burgers have been excellent 🤗 The katsu scotch egg was delicious, the whitebait were perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. Plus the Big Hug Juicy Pale beer is good too!

Oh wow!!! This is a hidden gem of Brighton , Roast dinner was on another level , beef was cooked to perfection, atmosphere and experience was spot on will be visiting many times more.
