Had a Sunday roast here at the weekend at is was up there with the best.
The pork was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Roast potatoes were crisp, salty goodness. The veg (cauliflower cheese, roasted carrots, greens, sweet potato purée) were all just as you’d want them. Great big fluffy Yorkshir
Brilliant food: came down from London and had one of the best pub meals for a long time, and on a Monday lunchtime.
Perfectly cooked cod, homemade bread, brilliant fresh parfait. Really excellent.

This might be the best pub I’ve been to in the last 10 years! The staff are friendly, the drink selection is fantastic, the atmosphere is perfect (not too loud but not too quiet) and the food was delicious and really high quality - you would struggle to get better at a formal restaurant.
First time in Brighton and find this absolute Gem of a pub. A warm welcoming atmosphere and a chicken Sunday roast to compete with the best and beat most of them. We will definitely come back next time we're in Brighton and recommend it to anyone visiting!
I was just passing with the dog and thought I’d pop in for quick lunch (on a Tuesday midday) and I have to say I’m so glad I did. This is a fantastic pub with a large multi level garden, very dog friendly. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Great choice of beers and the “Nourish Bowl” with chicke

I had a fantastically yummy roast here last Sunday! Great atmosphere and there was excellent customer service from the staff, FIVE stars!
I had the seabass. The presentation, taste and combinations made this dish absolutely delicious. However not alot of choice for vegetarians.
