The Brighton Tavern - Brighton - Photo album

Hi Lilly, We're saddened to hear you felt discriminated against. That is not how we run our pub as we always aim to be inclusive and respectful of everybody. Unfortunately, we do have CCTV footage of your group bringing outside drinks into the establishment, which we asked you not to drink on-site
The most welcoming little bar in all of Brighton, with a local clientele and terrific friendly fun service. Indoor and outdoor seating with everything you could need to spend hours in the sun tanning it right up or chilling inside or out the back in the garden... And how good is the music!!!Thanks f
I arrived in a bit of a panic trying to find a place that had wifi where I could work for a few hours (and do an interview) and Sarah-Jane (I think the manager) was super helpful. I ended up staying all afternoon and had a couple of drinks after. It's a lovely, cosy, local feeling pub and the price
In Brighton for one night only and happened upon this great little pub. Enjoyed a pint of Harveys Pale Ale. Very friendly atmosphere, they dimmed the lights and lit candles. There was a charity curry evening and the smell was wonderful. Sadly, we had already booked a table elsewhere - otherwise woul
We dropped in for a quick drink and were pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look much from the outside, but the interior is warm and welcoming and the barman was very funny and friendly. We found the tiny but cool garden and enjoyed the warm summer air with our drinks
Lovely little pub on the main road into the North Lanes. Easily overlooked but definitely worth making the effort to find it. There are enough regulars to make a cosy and friendly atmosphere. A few friendly dogs helped as well! Bar service was warm but efficient. Apparently May used to work in the w
A cosy old pub. We dropped in to get out of the rain and a few more times after while on holiday. A very freindly bar, people went out of their way to chat and make us feel welcome. A lovely inviting place to enjoy a drink with good people.
Stopped here for a drink before dinner. Great selection and friendly staff. They made us feel very welcome. Recommend it.
Good beer, warm atmosphere in a cozy old building house. Friendly staff and a good assortment of beers, even if I did not find my favourite one (13 guns)
Very friendly service and tasty beer. Plenty of hustle and bustle within but a tolerant attitude offered to all. A nice place to stop and relax for awhile.
Visit was pre-COVID. Nice, friendly pub. Had a half pint of Sussex Best Bitter. They had the front doors open and the weather was not very pleasant so jackets never came off.
Didn't get to sample the food on this occassion bit found the atmosphere and service to be top notch. Most enjoyable especially if you have a kiwi back ground.
I had one of the best experiences in Brighton by walking into this place. Yes, the beer was good, and not outrageously priced, so that was nice, but it was the people I met! They welcomed me in and I felt like family. The Scottish man and the friendly bartender who’s been working there for 7 years,
Nice friendly pub, which we like to stop off at on our way to Brighton Station to catch the train.
Really cute and authentic place with great service and hidden little courtyard
Been in this pub many times very frie dly staff. Great atmosphire. You can bring g takeway food.
Just returned from a lovely family dinner here. Food was really good and service was great. Special mention to our waitress Serena who was amazing and looked after us all night. Nothing too much trouble. Would recommend.
Thank you for the super kindness and for being so accommodating. It made the refreshing gin and tonic more memorable.
Lovely traditional pub with occasional folk sessions. Great atmosphere.
