Expensive (£8 for fish and chips) but very very tasty and fresh. Really friendly staff, good portion size and a good seafront view.
Maybe I'm just not used to Brighton prices, but other than the price it was a very good place to eat!
Been here a couple of times now and good fish and chips. Good location and nice seating on the beach. Not the cheapest place to go but the quality is good and you get what you pay for. There is indoor seating too which is handy for windy days like yesterday. Would go back again.

Chips were so nice! Love that you can salt it yourself so you can put loads on and no one will judge you. Fish is really fresh and really good and flakey. Lovely place to sit and watch the sea
My partner got fish and chips which was a very generous portion and I got battered sausage and chips which consisted of x2 battered sausages and again a generous portion of chips. Inside could have possibly utilised more of the dine-in space, as there were only 4 tables available inside and some out
This place is situated on the beach level just before the peir. The food was delicious, however it does take a little while for them to prepare your order and serve (which is to be expected from a busy restaurant). Would recommend, just not if you're in a hurry.
We didn’t buy any food here but my friend needed some change for the penny press machine on the pier specifically 1p the lady here was so kind she opened up the tip jar on the counter and gave her one and then refused to take any money from us.

Very nice chips! The lady who served us was very nice and even had a chat about places in Brighton, the only thing I feel that let this place down was the coke bottle salt!! Altho I'm all for recycling!!!! Would defo go there again
Great Fish and chips. Excellent quality. Most of shop closed down for winter now but the cafe area is very hospitable and excellent quality simple foood.

Out of all the places to eat, this place is top in my books. All food is cooked fresh and it's very good quality and value too. Clean and easily accessible (wheelchair friendly), lovely patio on the beach and staff who are keen to help and please!
Always fresh fish which I love. See the white in the fish you know it fresh. Chips are good too. I know it can be a little expensive for some family with kid. At least you know the fishes are line caught.
Punch line: highly recommended Fresh fish (you'd expect this anyway, right? 😁) and good staff!
What's more important - guys behind the till and in the kitchen are loving their job - you can tell right away and that's what make this place outstanding.
