I’ve wanted to try the food her for some time, I’m so glad I finally have. The food here is authentic, nourishing and delicious. Service is fast and friendly and the price is very affordable. Mohammed was also a top guy and clearly does a lot to support the community!

Every time I visit the open market I make a detour via Mohammed Spice of Life. The lovely lady’s samosas are known all over town for being the very best, flavoursome and very reasonably priced. The masala Chai is some of the best I’ve ever had and I very often wake up craving the Pani Puri they do h
The beef kala bhuna at this restaurant was simply outstanding 😋 The beef was tender and beautifully spiced, offering an authentic taste of Bangladeshi cuisine. Highly recommend for an exquisite dining experience!
I absolutely adore this place! The samosas are the best in Brighton! There vegetarian lunchbox is delicious too. It's such generous portions but with clean ingredients and made with such love and expertise, I never feel too full afterwards. The staff are also so lovely and kind! If you haven't check
Amazing dosa on a Saturday morning in the sunshine 🌞 Would totally recommend, delicious, freshly prepared 😋 We loved the dosa, chutneys, samosas, lassi, masala chai. Thank you, we'll be back
When I walked in the smell of the spices hit immediately. I was served by jasmine and service was very good and friendly. The food was amazing full of flavour and just the right spice. The lassi is also very good, nice creamy yogurt flavour. Overall I would come back again.
Been here for lunch with my best friend three times now and no complaints at all. As a pescetarian and her vegan it's nice to have multiple options that are tasty along with amazing warming service, almost feels like I'm in someone's home. 10/10 would recommend one of the few lunch spots in Brighton
I’ve just finished a meal at Mohammed - Spice of Life and it was delightful! The owners were lovely and very accommodating, despite it being busy they were able to serve and have food on the table in good timing! I had the Saag Paneer with some extra samosa and it was out of this world - As you can

My family and I visited the old open market just to get a look at it. It was already 3 or 4 p.m. and we hadn't eaten lunch yet. We saw Mohammed - Spice of Life and immediately wanted to eat our meals there. We had plenty of choices what to eat. The owner have us free appetizers, talked a lot to us.
Delicious food which tastes home-cooked and isn't too heavy, unlike in many restaurants. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. A must-try place if you're in Brighton.
Outstanding! Super little cafe serving excellent quality home cooked food, that is tasty, filling and affordable. We have walked passed here a million times, and never popped in. Well, that's a mistake we won't make again. As we were looking at the menu, my daughter received a little wave. This sma
I've been going to Mohammads and Jasmin's shop for years now and feels like I've become parto there family. Fantastic food and conversation and I hope to be going there for a few more years in the future

Where to start… two of the kindest souls in Brighton serving some of the best authentic food at great portions with affordable prices. Make this a regular spot if you haven’t been before
Flavourful and authentic Bangladeshi food, with the crispiest samosas in Brighton and delicious warming tea. Cozy spot and the owners are very welcoming.
