Amazing food! We stumbled across here today only to discover it's completely vegetarian/vegan which was perfect for us! I the food was incredible probing vegan food isn't boring or just salad in a bowl. We had the chilli cheese hot dog and the kebab - so delicious. The staff were so lovely and happy to have a chat with us and recommend their favourites off the menu. Can't wait to go back for more!

Cannot even describe how much I dig this food. I come to and from London to Brighton to visit my pals and boyfriend and almost always hit up the Hope and Ruin for the best vegan hot dogs ever. Nothing compares. Love this place. And the branding is on point too

This place just ticks all the boxes! awesome decor and arty/creative vibe, and very well priced. The food is seriously delicious and it's so nice to have an entirely vegan menu to choose from. Can't recommend it enough, I wish there were more places like this!

No words for how good this place is. Been there twice now and each time it's the best vegan food I've ever eaten. 😍😍

We have eaten here on many occasions and always enjoyed the food. This time we had one of the March specials, the Carbonara fries. Would definitely have it again if it came on the menu again.

One of the best vegan pub I have ever visited, their signature Beelzebab (Seitan Kebab) is simply amazing! Very cool ambient as well, cool people and cool place to be ;)

Finally down in Brighton again and paid a much anticipated visit following a friend's reccomendation. Very impressed. The place has a great feel to it - down to earth but quirky and cool with the kitchen operating from a caravan in the corner of the space. You've got to see it! The kebab was succulent, generously portioned and incredibly tasty with all the right sauce. Best seitan I've eaten. Very friendly staff and good prices. I'll be going back tomorrow!

Very pleasant visit! The whole place has lovely, relaxed atmosphere, the staff was very helpful and super friendly. Nice selection of drinks and the food... It's absolutely outstanding. I had the kebab and my fiancée tried the chilli cheese dog, accompanied by some fries, "naughty little lads" and the "pengest poppers". We didn't realise how big the portions are so we ended up taking some leftovers home with us (too tasty to leave it behind). Everything was really fresh, cooked to perfection, seasoned like a dream. We'll definitely be coming back soon for some more deliciousness! Thank you!

Keep coming back for more for a Beelzebab fix. The Fries-a-go-go with its insanely tasty cheese sauce and a huge vegan kebab are my favourites. Always introducing new items and great value, a must for any Brighton pit stop.

Proper delish. Best vegan grub I've had in Brighton, and in a great pub. I had a load of non-vegan normals with me too and they all reckoned the food was off the hook, mate. 👌

This is where all the cool punx hang out in Brighton. I got the dirty dog for a £8.90, it came with onion rings (can opt for fries too) and i enjoyed it with a pint of pale ale. I can only wish there was a punk vegan craft beer bar in my town when i grew up.

Cool spot with vegan hot dogs, kebabs & more. (Whole menu is vegan!) I went for the ‘Dirty Dog’ tofu dog, which has their seitan doner ‘meat’ & a spicy chilli sauce. Knife & fork recommended! Close to Brighton station, friendly bar & kitchen staff! 💚

Two massive thumbs up. The fried gherkins and popperella sticks went perfectly with a few pints of Oktoberfest beer. Fun casual vibe in a really interesting pub. Lots of board games on offer and if you like reading then the men’s urinals have some interesting graffiti.

I was in Brighton 2 days for part if my holiday and ate here with my sister. She ate vegan kebab - says it's excellent and I ate some hot dog - it was very tasty. Also icecream is very goooood. 😋😋😋 i highly recommend.

I ordered the kebab and was not disappointed. At first glance it does look like 'meat' in a pitta with a bit of tatziki, but more veg lies inside. There were pockets of mild spiciness. I was quite full by the end. Recommended.

You're probably searching through all the 'best' vegan places in Brighton for somewhere to eat right now - you can stop your search, you've found your place. I cannot tell you how delicious the Dirty Kraut dog and Hoisin Wngs were. Genuinely, it was the best vegan food I've ever eaten. My meat-eater boyfriend agreed that the food was delicious and commented that he would have never known the hotdog was vegan (especially the cheese!). The staff were all lovely and made us feel safe and welcome. I 666% recommend Beelzebab!

Was early and therefore empty (first customers in straight after opening) but even though it still manages to have a warm, inviting and fun atmosphere. We liked the music, the vibe was good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Food, we had hotdogs, and whilst I can't honestly say they were the best we've ever had, they were still good. My partner had the battered pickled gherkins. She liked them. Good selection of ales to boot. Really happy, will go again.

Great bar this one. Really good chilled vibe, stickers on the wall - always a good touch. They offer a great vegan menu with lots of selection, many new dishes I hadn't seen before. It was fairly quiet as we stopped by early doors. Only had time for some Chick'n Poppers with their special sauce which was very good, it fooled my heathen friends who kept coming back for more.

Someone made a deal with the devil. The vegan wings here are the best I've had. The vegan kebab? Real close to the real thing, and none of the grease meat would leave you with. Drinks and desserts? Tasty as can be. The Fentiman's Dandelion and Burdock soda is one of my favorites. The vegan ice cream is local and tasty. If you're in Brighton and vegan or vegetarian, this is the best you're gonna find and it's well worth the stop.

Proper junk food and some things really hit the spot like the deep fried Brussels sprouts (omg YES) but other things were a bit claggy or strange flavour combinations (cauliflower cheese and parsnip kimchi hot dog..). Overall really nice experience but reckon if the menu was reduced to focus more on show stopping dishes that would really work.

Always lovely food in the Hope and Ruin, great atmosphere this evening and really friendly staff. Beelzebub was particularly good, but the loaded fries are ace too. Online ordering process was great, and allows you to customise your food. No charge for soda water too which is a bonus!

This pub has a great relaxed atmosphere. The vegan options are plentiful. If you want to introduce someone to vegan pub grub, this is a great spot. Great service and nice people.

All vegan, bit hipster, very colourful. Beelzebab is, I hope, a Vegan Brighton Institution by now. A great range of beer and always the delicious Seacider on tap. Vegan junk food is good, but pancake Day here is the best. Off the normal menu, I'm personally not a big fan of the hotdogs, and that's a "my mouth doesn't like the texture" thing. However, the loaded fries and kebabs are amazing. Pudding is ways super too. This is one of my fav places to bring an omni friend to surprise them how ace vegan junk food can be. Service is usually good, although, of course, a little slower when busy. Its a popular place, so don't be surprised if you can't get a seat on a Saturday evening.

Hope and Ruin still offering quality vegan junk food (my number 1 is their delicious vegan chilli, chips n' vegan cheese 😋🤤😋🤤). Loads of vegan options available though and all their booze is vegan too. Great atmosphere for chats downstairs, with bands upstairs. One of my fave hangouts 😍 Oh, and ask Luke the chef if you want the chilli extra hot 🔥🥵

Amazing place! Cool, quirky atmosphere, random decor everywhere. Staff are friendly and profesh. It's an experience as much as a place to go grab vegan pulled pork fries. Recommend to everyone!

Been a beelzebab fan since the start — undoubtedly the best vegan fast food in Brighton. Everything is fried to perfection, the menu is creative and fun and changes regularly, their social media is hilarious, and it's always a joy to eat there.
