Lovely cafe serving all day vegan breakfast! The food was yummy with reasonable prices. We had the scrambled tofu and avocado full breakfast and the plate was full and hearty. I also enjoyed the turmeric latte with oat milk. My little one had the plain fries which were absolutely delicious. They have daily specials as well. The cafe itself has plenty of seating despite its small size. We went in January so outside seating was not available, but we still found seats for the 5 of us.

Yummy plant based brunch place! Friendly and happy staff which brings good vibes and positivity. We were the first customer so it was not busy at all on a Saturday morning. Food tastes really great! We ordered Neighbourhood breakfast and cinnamon pancakes 🥞

Really great vegan food place, so many choices, all day breakfast, jack fruit tuna mayo sandwich, loaded fries (all of these pictured) and more. The food is of great quality, fresh, healthy and naughtier options too Friendly staff. Fast service. Dog friendly. Love it

Excellent plant-based cafe with lovely host in North Laine. Picture this… It was a surprisingly sunny October day and my birthday getaway to Brighton was coming to an end. We had looked up and down the Lanes for about 30mins for some energising breakfast to accommodate our long trip home but to no avail. Then on the corner lay Neighbourhood cafe! We could hear our host Rachel inside, and decided to step in. We were greeted by warm faces, and, most importantly, warm cups of delicious Coconut Mocha and Latte. I could not resist indulging in there GF Vegan breakfast menu. I say indulge but the food was holistic, and scrummy at that so you feel as good as it tastes. As you can see the pancakes in this photo! Thank you Rachel to you and the team. This is somewhere I recommend to all.

Wow after a year of lockdown going to Neighbourhood today felt like being on holiday in the med. Ice cold pale ale on tap served with delicious vegan food outside in the sun- what a huge treat! Everything we ordered was great. The loaded fries were amazing (I have missed chips a lot!) and the cauliflower and sweetcorn fritters were like a little taste of Asia. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you Neighbourhood, we can't wait to come back.

First things first, great food. I’ll post a picture. No fault, vegan breakfast. Piping hot, Scrambled Tofu, perfect mushrooms, spicy beans, roasty spuds with avocado dressing, great coffee. Thanks to the waitress and chef. A couple of things tho. When I arrived I asked for a cappachino and the waitress assumed ‘Oat milk?’ meaning I had to correct her by checking ‘is Oat milk all you have?’ and she said something about ‘the other’ milk. What’s with the pushing oat milk vibe? She seemed a bit stiff I wondered straight away if I was being judged for my choice? I’m not vegan but enjoy tasty vegan fair. The cafe is freezing cold. For some reason both doors are left wide open on a chilly day. My nose and legs are cold and I ask for the doors to be closed. I kind of knew, before I asked my request would be a bit of a pain for the waitress. She responds by saying she will close one door. Cheers 🤨I know I’m in a slight power struggle here. Not vegan enough and not able to sustain my body temperature enough.. As a Brighton resident of 55; born and bred, I’ve noticed a change in cafe staff vibe since I was young. I used to waitress as a girl. There’s a slight shift from being there to serve the customer, to a bit like serving is slightly above them and socialising with other staff is their reasons to be there. That may be slightly unfair but it’s not far off. This is a cafe after all. My legs remained cold. I asked for another capachino and again oat milk is assumed. Oat milk tastes weird to me.
