I popped into this lovely Steampunk bar in Brighton. The place looks great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you are a Steampunk you must visit it. If you are just and ordinary person visit It too! :)

Very impressively themed throughout, a top notch experience with very polite and welcoming staff! It feels like you've entered a different world or time era and it's the perfect hideout for something that is completely different and unique to anything else. Will definitely be coming back and hoping that a food menu will be added in the future :)

I really enjoyed my evening in this fabulous place. The staff are so friendly and there is a great selection of drinks, including gorgeous teas (try Grandma's Garden!). They also have hats to wear while you are there - I loved the red top hat and the tri corner with red stripes. Fab Steampunk pub with a great atmosphere!

I went there for the first time today. Lovely decor and atmosphere, good selection of drinks - especially the spiced mead which was scrummy and friendly staff! I would definitely recommend to others and come again.

A beautifully decorated theme bar, I was very impressed with the finish and attention to detail evident in the building work. The staff were great, welcoming and friendly. Even if you're not into the Steampunk scene, The Yellow Book is well worth a visit! I wish you every success with your new venture, I'll certainly be back!

Well thought out, welcoming staff, great atmosphere, friendly clients, great tea, if I lived locally this would become a regular Friday Saturday night haunt and the go to place to spend Sunday reading the paper over coffee recovering from the hangover

Had a pre-gig drink at brand new steampunk-themed bar The Yellow Book, and it's excellent. Much brass and Beardsley, a gypsy-punk/cabaret-noir soundtrack, and a stunning optical illusion (you'll know it when you see it). Deserves to become a meeting place and hangout for all the good people.

Lovely, welcoming alternative bar. The bar tender was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind, especially with dietry restrictions. She also had a deep understanding of sensory issues. The cocktails are little potions of magical joy. I felt very safe and welcomed here. Thank you.

Have been here before but not for a few years , came in with my Mum to escape the rain. There was a singer on which was really nice and added to the atmosphere. Nice coffee had espresso, and was done in proper way. Friendly server. It’s a shame it was so empty as people were missing some good live music

A birthday visit which was supported by the owners - really great fun. drinks were brilliant - can particuarly recommend the 'clockwork orange' and the dark cider is a nice one, not too sweet, but hits the spot! The venue is cosy, without feeling cramped. The decor is really nice, it stands out amongst the local bars. Go along for yourself, you'll be sure to enjoy!

Visited and found one of the few places in Brighton with more interesting beers, plus mead. Quite full, and really nice staff. There's a little roof over space out the back, and a roof over our the front, if you don't want to sit inside.
