Went briefly yesterday to the reggae event celebrating Jamaica independence day...fantastic atmosphere...couldn't stay long or enjoy a drink as both working early today...gutted we had to leave...not enough reggae in brighton ! Please host more events like this !!

Some nights it's great with good student deals and nice level of music. Sometimes the live music is excellent but gets busy when it's a small joint. Sometimes it has the music really loud for a quiet night which isn't ideal. It really depends on which day you go and what's on that night. Drinks are great, staff are great and there is a cute cat there too, but it's a bit flighty with people and might not approach you(don't take it personally).

This bar is actually a lot better than you would think. Not too busy. In the center of town but you don't get all the nobs. Decent drinks selection. Bar staff are friendly. Has live music once in a while.
