Yeah - nice pub, this. Definite family vibe going on. Service quick as you like when I went in there late afternoon. A bit of seating outside, and a decent oblique view of the sea, as an estate agent may say. Food available but not partaken on this occasion due to upcoming curry. Decent pint of Neck Oil confirmed.

New owners have taken over this pub and they are doing an amazing job. Food is fantastic, you get loads for your money. It has free juke box and pool on a Monday. They show all sports. The owners have created a great community feel to the pub. I'm really pleased we have just moved here - my new local!!

Came in this evening to see what it was like as I know it’s been opened around a month and wanted to check it out! Enjoyed a few ciders. Was good and the place looks good too! Nice atmosphere and music. Overall pleasant. However the girl on the bar was on her own and I couldn’t see anyone to help her. Not sure if they are still finding their feet and need more staff? But she was rushed off her feet and a queue formed and got a bit busy for one person. Hope the staffing issues are sorted soon and she’s not left lone working.

The kitchen here "Union Grill" produce delicious roasts, (I recommend ordering a board which has a mixed roast), really good burgers (Monday 2 for 1) and is a great pub with regular live music and a fantastic enclosed garden! For veggies, they have a 'Mac fritter' burger made of macaroni cheese - its really good!
