I mean the pictures speak for themselves - breakfast disappeared quickly. Well presented products and good coffee. The inside of the shop could do with a makeover upstairs with the pleather seats worn through, not quite the right height and generally needing some cash spending.
Barista was really nice, I have a very nervous chihuahua and she said hello to him the correct way and a good time was had by all.

Small batch has been my go to cafe for the last 7 years now! Coffee is amazing, food is great, staff is lovely and the atmosphere just tops it off! Highly recommend
Legendary place glad to finally visit but unfortunately at the end of the day so could only sample coffee. It was quite weak and hot for my liking but could see staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Trendy location. Wouldn't put me off visiting again ..
Nice coffee, limited dining options in Seven Dials branch and staff are not overly friendly in contrast to Western Road outlet. Love the idea of converted bank building.

We already know the coffee is good - it's Small Batch. But that's not why this place deserves 6 stars. The 5 years I've been in Brighton I've not met a more wonderful group of staff. There isn't a single member I couldn't have a nice chat with and I'm usually a grab-coffee-and-go kind of person. Eve
Very impressed indeed. We went in just for a coffee. Really enjoyed their filter coffee. Lots of snacks, cakes and nibbles, some vegan. The vegan sausage rolls looked very appetising indeed. Excellent tasting coffee which took us all by surprise. Great taste and warm and friendly Barista to top it all off. Would recommend popping in for a brew and cake.
