The pricing is a wonderful surprise given it is at a tourist spot.
I had the egg roll and did not know what to expect but it was an egg burger and was delicious eventhough humble and simple.
The staff is very happy to serve and cautions you several times not to leave your items unattended.

I've known the owner for many years and he has always been a cheerful happy man. Through thick and thin the Cafe has remained. The food is good hearty food freshly cooked and really tasty. There is plenty of seating , either in the sun or the shade . Through , speed trials, Harley Davidson events,

What a man, the owner is very funny and helpful, loves to chat. But man can he serve up a wonderful plate of food, put a lot of places in pompey to shame. Best place for fish &chips in Brighton bar none.

Nothing wrong with this place. Food was a respectable 8 and the staff were very friendly. Couldn't see any hygiene issues on my several visits. It gets busy but I guess that's a good sign.
Excellent cafe for great tasting traditional grub, which is also excellent value. Views of the beach/ sea/ pier/ etc.
