Our favourite place to grab lunch, we came here on Easter Sunday & as usual the food didn’t disappoint… I like to try something different every time we eat here so the dish of choice for me was The Chef’s special Beef Noodle Soup & for the hubby Basil Chilli Noodles with Chicken… My soup was to die for the beef was just melt in the mouth & the broth was delicious, now I’m not one for spice but next time I would maybe like to try it medium 🌶️🌶️ just to add a bit more of a punch.
The hubby’s was packed with flavour & didn’t disappoint. We love coming to this place and would highly recommend 😊

Fantastic Thai meal tonight. As a group of 4, we tried a good selection of the menu: chicken and pork dumplings, laksa, satay chicken noodles, sweet chilli fried chicken, stir fried chicken and cashews. All excellent and they don't hold back with the portion size either. My personal favourite was the fried chicken. Very different to what you'd get at a Korean place, but still crunchy and smothered in sauce.
Total cost for 4 people for drinks, starters and mains was $150

Food was very tasty and service very friendly. My go to place when I'm in the area.

Great!!! guests said it was amazing food.
Service was fine.
It was a little noisy
However it was a cool.nite and everyone was inside the cafe..
It will be great to sit outside on a warmer evening.

Service is no 1 here. Food wise I can't feel the local Thai taste like. But food wise is decent.

Never disappointed with the food at In Thais. The noodles are especially delicious. The restaurant itself is in a great location, with very reasonable prices. Sometimes service can be a little slow, but with good company and a glass of wine you will hardly notice.

Lovely authentic Thai food restaurant
Great food and flavours.
Staff very friendly.
Not only friendly but honest I left my wallet behind and it was returned to my door. Thanks so much.

Sweet and sour chicken served really quickly. Pot thai was nice not to mention tom yum. They prepare heater for customer 👍 Dog friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went here late Friday afternoon for dinner and were seated quickly at a nice table out side. Entree came out quickly. We ordered the money bags (small deep fried dumplings) and they were light and delicious. Mains were a chicken laksa and Szechuan pork stir fry. Both were fresh and tasty. The staff were super friendly and Overall very impressed. We will be back.

Food is always amazing, we love sitting outside on a lovely evening but this time we had to opt for take away. The satay tofu was exceptional.

Sunday lazy lunch had today and geez it was great...
Shared a tom yum soup with prawns, so tasty, three decent size prawns...
Beef basil for me, drunken noodles with chicken for the hubby. Both were delicious.
Washed down with a Mr Riggs Savvy blanc $30 for the bottle, thank you very much...
So going back to do it all again real soon.

Busy place, even on a weekday. Recommend calling ahead. The food is worth the wait on a busy night. I had the spicy noodles and was very satisfied by the level of spice as someone who enjoys spicy food. Good portion size and a solid helping of meat. The money bags were a good appetizer but very small. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating and accommodated our little pup. Only came because of a voucher but would return and pay full price.

Had an impromptu big family dinner last night, and they kindly fit us in just as the kitchen was about to close. Service was incredible, and all our meals were absolutely delicious and so fast! Meat was tender and not chewy, and flavours were all spot on! Lovely atmosphere too. Everyone raved about the experience. Thank you, and keep up the amazing work! 🙏

Great place! In addition to being amazing at what they do, owners Tanny and Kevin have such an awesome energy.
Love it 5/5

Have been to In Thais three times in the last few weeks and loved the food every time. The best money bags I've eaten and the special fried rice is almost a meal in itself. Most recently hubby and I shared a special; the tamarind duck-delicious, juicy and beautifully presented. A favourite dish just now is the Choo Chee Chicken, YUM!!.
Staff are helpful, warm and friendly and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this eatery.

Nice ambiance to go eat dinner with friends..loves their pandan chicken..the Thai green curry was a bit bland need a bit of kick but the Thai basil chicken was delicious.
I would like to come back to try other menu.
The lady owner is so nice too 👍🏼👍🏼

Best Thai food in the Brighton area. The restaurant is always busy and the staff are very friendly. The food is consistently delicious. Definitely recommend

We had a nice lunch here. For entree we had a delicious seaflower, a very nice dumpling, taste beautiful. And as for main course we had Red Beef Curry, Pud Thai Seafood, Salt and Pepper Tofu, and Beef Stir Fry. All main course are okay, but not that great though. But the exceptional dish is Seaflower. Definitely will come back to have the other dish and seaflower of course. Service is good, warmth and friendly. Food came to our table pretty quick..and for the price is medium not too expensive.

I was served with RAW chicken and an absolutely TASTELESS fried vermicelli last night. After I made a complain to the manager, he said he would take it back to the kitchen and asked the chef. HE THEN TOOK THE PLATE WITH THE RAW CHICKEN BACK TO THE KITCHEN AND HEAT IT UP AND INSISTED THE CHICKEN IS FULLY COOK AND PINK IS JUST HOW THE MEAT COLOUR WAS. SERIOUSLY???? This manager was very rude to me and my friends and didn't even apology and refuse to do a refund after I have made my complain politely about being served with raw chicken. And please, you really need to hire someone who is competent or someone who have been given professional training on hospitality. Your staffs seems very nice but the manager is a complete disaster. He was very rude to the customers and apparently not a honest staff base on how he treated me and my friends. I have never been treated so badly as a customer in a restaurant in Adelaide. This is completely unacceptable and customer service like this cannot be tolerated. THANKS FOR RUINING MY NIGHT.

I wish I could give this a zero! I have been to this place so many times over the years and never had an inedible meal. We ordered $60 worth of takeaway. The basil beef stir fry was dry and had a metallic taste which made it inedible. The spring rolls were soggy, bland and under cooked. The fried rice was overcooked and gluggy. I called the restaurant to let them know and the response from the manager was shocking. She actually tried to tell me "that's how we do our fried rice" and the spring rolls were supposed to be like that due to the oil they use. We ended up taking the food back to the shop and I have never been in such a hostile environment. The owners were so rude, speaking over the top of me, rolling their eyes and pushing the food away as if there was nothing wrong with it. The worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life.

Really enjoyed my salt and pepper chicken today on a wooly Brighton day at In Thais Cafe & Noodle Bar. Service was great. Food was fresh and very tasty.

Have been here too many times to count as a local. Been with large groups for celebrations and also just to grab a great dinner with friends. Always take interstate visitors here.

Food is always, consistent, tasty, fresh and amazing. Atmosphere is casual, with seating available outside, the outside can seem busy, but that's Jetty Rd it's full of people, especially in summer, and it's on a lovely road leading to the beach.

Staff are of a very high standard, friendly and there's never a huge wait for food. Great choice of wines and beers available. Soft shell crab, Choo Chee Chicken, Pad Thai (the best!) Kway teow.
Also Chef's specials/recommendations are always worth the order as they never disappoint.

Went in with my family from the Philippines. Had to say, food was extraordinary and the service was fast and helpful. A real highlight too my families trip. Really recommended.

Have been here a number of times and would suggest this is the best asian eatery in the area. Excdllent food, service and setting. Never fails to impress.

We've been here many times. For a special dinner and for quick dinners during the week with the kids. Always fresh, delicious and very attentive staff. Haven't had a bad meal. Yummy

I was wanting to try a new restaurant and found this place close to home. I ordered a laksa (a favourite of mine) and when it came out just smelling the soup reminded me of my trip to Thailand a few years ago. Overall I was very happy with my meal and would recommend

This place was popular on a Wednesday night. We were in a large group and there were no complaints from anyone. The food was all tasty but the winning dish of the night was the tamarind duck. Generous serves. In Thai gets extra points for allowing our group to pay separately at the end of the night - a very efficient process.
Secret Squirrel
Ok service was average as we were told no seats even if we waited but there was a few available inside within 5 min of waiting, it was summer so busy. Food was actually good and tasty. Green chicken curry and Laksa was great. Ordered takeaway a couple of weeks later and it was made well again

Visited on a warmish Saturday, first time to this place and also to eat Thai for awhile. Quick service to get a table, and supplied with water. The evening was busy and many customers so took awhile to place order and get food. That was understandable, albeit, a wee frustrating in light of other later arriving customers eating more quickly. Only down side though, as the money bags entree was yummo, with the delicate crunch opening up the chicken and sweetcorn. Garlic prawns and beef salad were shared mains, both prepared well and tasty, with the prawns being both generous in number and tasty. A lovely meal at a lovely place and yes, would go back!

Went there a couple of weeks ago for my partners birthday lunch. Sat outside with an aroma of dog turd and bird poo on the table. We ordered drinks and after waiting 20 minutes I had to go to the bar and ask where our drinks were. Our entrees came out semi cold and the chicken was like cardboard, so dry that we couldnt eat it. Our mains were discusting! Deep fried in oil that must have not been changed in months was pieces of what looked like a rare species of bird was scattered through our meals, again the chicken had a texture of cardboard. My mother in law asked for a sauce to come with her meal and they still did not bring it out. All in all, the best part of the meal was probably our bottled drinks. Wont be going there again unfortunately.

After reading last few reviews was a bit hesitant to go. However, I have not a got a bad word to say. Staff were very attentive, water placed on table, drink ordered taken straight away. Shared entree of chicken skewers were delicious, perfect start. Replacement drinks and main meals delivered efficiently. The three of us each had of taste of each other's meal. My chicken curry was fantastic and judging by how the other 2 with me 'demolished' their meals their's were too.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and would certainly go back again myself. Thank you to waiting staff, your demeanour and work ethic was superb. And the cooking staff yum

WORST! WORST! WORST! Terrible service and food. My husband and I live in Brighton and I have visited this restaurant on three separate occasions. The first time, the food took over an hour to be brought to our table and when it finally arrived it was poor and not authentic. I decided to give it another chance, so I went back with a friend. This time, the service was even worse. My friend and I waited whilst the waiters chatted amongst themselves - it wasn't even busy. The third visit was only because I had a craving for Thai food and needed something quick - MAJOR mistake! The restaurant staff don't seem to have any insight into what constitutes good food service. Although it seems popular, don't be fooled - it's probably only busy because people are waiting for such long periods for their food, and there's no other direct competition on Jetty Road. Also, don't be surprised if they forget to bring your meal out at all! We will NEVER EVER be going back again!
Sandra Mc
Food was nice. Service not so impressive. It felt like it was an inconvenience for the staff. We had s group of 10. Staff was not very obliging. Customer service is sometimes overlooked. Such a shame

We make it our mission to try somewhere new for breakfast every Sunday and we've been meaning to get to this place for ages! We finally made it down today - and there is already talk of a return.
The menu options are amazing, so many tempting dishes to choose from ranging from stock standard eggs and bacon or muesli to the more unusual. We had the thai omelette (with prawns and moreton bay bugs) and the baked eggs. Both were amazing! Coffee was okay and tea was made with tea bags but the food is so good you can deal with a mediocre beverage. A must try!

Tried to download a menu, what a waste of time and effort.
Have to give them your facebook details just to download a menu then it doesn`t work. REALLY POOR EFFORT
BrightonBabe
BrightonBeau and I have eaten here several times - in fact it was the restaurant we chose for our first date over a year ago.The meals are generally well presented, tasty, and reasonable but not great value for money. Went there recently with friends on a Friday night and all of us were disappointed. The restaurant was not busy, so there are no excuses for ordinary service, and poor presentation of meals which did not in any way resemble the menu's description or contain what should be considered an adequate serve of food for the price. As locals living a stone's throw from In Thais, we've decided to try elsewhere for our Thai in future.
Haylee
So disappointed.. Ordered a curry takeaway and I literally had to eat my dinner with a spoon. It was the consistency of soup. Rang and spoke to manager who insisted this was typical authentic Thai, therefor it isn't thick sauce. Won't be returning..

Breakfast at In Thais. The most amazing breakfast menu! Unusual and incredibly delicious. I can recommend the Bubble & Squeek and the Coconut Toastie! Everything really.

French Toast. Exquisite flavour combination! Delicious!

Great spot. Lovely owner. We ate here twice in November while visiting relatives. It was very busy both times we went. The serving staff were terrific and the owner came over to give us some advice as to what to eat. We had Money Bags, lime & chili scallops, soft shell crab, thai basil chicken and InThai spicy noodles. One after the other were delicious. If I lived in the area, or anywhere nearby, this would become my once a week place. The house wine wasn't to our taste but that was an easy fix. Yummy!

Poor. Very very poor phone service, if they haven't got it off the hook they just don't answer it.

Nice outdoor seating area & scenic view down the road. I enjoyed dinner here last night with my boyfriend.

We had vegetarian spring rolls and chicken satay skewers for an entree. The spring rolls were lovely. I personally didn't like the sweet chilli sauce they were with. The satay skewers were amazing!

My boyfriend had laksa for his main and loved it. The portion size was large, especially after having eaten entrees too.
I had a (satay noodles with chicken and without pineapple??) I've forgotten the name. It was lovely! The noodles were great.

Waiting time in between entrees and mains was good. The atmosphere was nice. Definitely somewhere to go on a nice summers night. Not somewhere to go on a windy night though.

Great and unusual Breakfast Options. Myself, my wife and our two children (9 and 6) had breakfast here Saturday morning and were really impressed by the unusual choices available and the breath of options. We both had the Duck egg and bacon on Brioche and it was divine. So good in fact that we had to go back on Sunday morning again to try some different options (ham and cheese spring rolls were great).

We have subsequently been back for dinner (Soft Shell crab a highlight this time). We would have no hesitation in recommending this cafe/restaurant as a great casual eating option.

Terrible food and service. For a Asian Thai restaurant , it was terrible.. Ordered a Pud Thai with chicken and extra veg.. I got 4 slices of chicken 2 shrimp and rotten capsicum &onion. Zero flavour.. Spoke to the manager and she sounded like she couldn't start a bun fight in a bakery.. Should never stray from the best .. Indochine noodle Bar is the place to go.. Thought I would give this place a go.. Terrible.. Don't waste your money!!!

Vego's rejoice!!. As a vegetarian, some restaurants are less than accommodating in providing vego options- in Thais offers vego meals on their menu, AND can make ANY dish vego on request as it's all made fresh and made to order!! After chatting with the friendly staff I was able to construct my own meal that fit nicely with my dietary requirements and didn't miss out on having plenty of options!! Made it so easy to come out with a group of people that all have different preferences! :0) will definitely be back to try their brekky menu soon too- hope it's as good as their dinner!!

Just WOW . I went with my hubby for breakfast.. All I can say is WOW.
The new breakfast menu is to die for *drools*
I ordered the duck egg with barossa valley bacon I've never tried duck eggs before and it was the best.
My hubby ordered the twice braised mushroom with poached egg and truffle emulsion.. He is a very fussy eater but he devoured it.
All the flavours worked amazingly..
The place was busy but the food was not even late..
I would have to say this is the best breakfast in ADELAIDE!!!

AMAZING!!. There was amazing service at this place with great food, there was a young blonde hair boy who was probably the best worker i have ever seen in a place like this, i advise the manager to give this young man a raise, well done to all the great workers its my favourite place to visit in brighton!!
Rachel Townsend
My favourite place- by far in Brighton.
Hands down BEST laksa in Adelaide...
Super friendly staff and yum breakkie a too!!!
Not sure where to eat? Go there!!

Red curry with beef was incredibly oily and tasteless. I mentioned it but was told this was normal.

Well worth a visit. We have eaten at In Thais Café and Noodle Bar on a number of occasions and sampled a large part of the Menu. We have always enjoyed the food immensely, lovely fresh tastes. They also have the cutest outside area at the side of the Restaurant which is enclosed and decorated with fairy lights.
Hungry Plumber
Wheres the meat. Beef noodles with 4 pieces of beef and satay chicken with mainly cabbage, these were the disappointments with our recent takeaway meal.
It was ordered with a fried rice and a serve of spring rolls and was very overpriced for what was served. The rice was good and the spring rolls OK. we have eaten in here on 2 previous occasions with 1 good and 1 with frozen pandan chicken and have now had 2 takeaways 1 good and 1 bad , we have run out of patience now. We wont bother again

Love this place! Food is always great, consistent and pretty well priced. Could do with a better wine list, but this is really all I can complain about. Otherwise a favourite.

Not so sure?. Went here for dinner on sat night, not so sure that it is actually authentic Thai? Massaman curry & Basil chicken just didn't have that true Thai flavour, not much kick! disappointing, just wish a decent asian restaurant will open on jetty rd, Brighton soon!!!!

Julie. Love this place, its a favourite, fresh tasty light thai food.Never had any issues there.Always good service and nice staff, the owners are lovely.Lots of gluten free and veg options just ask!
Marilyn
I ordered Thai Basil Chicken & they used minced chicken! extremely runny and tasteless. My husband ordered a beef dish, beef tasted like cardboard, inedible and when asked, he told the waiter that he didn't like it. The waiter said "nor do I". No apology.
Service was terrible too and they weren't very busy.

Ordered takeaway for lunch last week and waited with great anticipation, arrived at the relatively quiet In Thais restaurant and had to wait at the counter for several minutes as it was unattended, meanwhile I could see my order on the bench. A staff member finally appeared and I went to pay for the two small noodle boxes by eftpos, but he vanished before I could pay. Almost 10 minutes later, he returned with another staff member who was finally able to process the simple eftpos payment for two noodle dishes (a total of $26).

We opened the two small noodle boxes and tucked in to the In Thais spicy noodles with roast pork and Drunken Noodles with chicken, met by much disappointment. The 'thick egg noodles' were the Hokkien noodles readily available in the refrigerated section of any supermarket. The sauce was very oily and lacked any authentic Thai flavours, I could mainly taste soy sauce. Also, for $13 per dish I'd usually expect to get more than three or four bite sized pieces of chicken inundated in a bed of greasy noodles. Disappointing in terms of flavour and value when compared to many other Thai restaurants in Adelaide.

Food court flavors & service at restaurant prices. Unimpressed with this place...Rang for a takeaway order on a Sunday night, and mentioned we had an entertainment book voucher to use, which according to them was fine. Then asked if a small rice would feed 2-3 people which the worker agreed It would.
Went to pick up meal and it should've been a dead giveaway that this place was empty on jetty rd while others were busy.
As we picked up our order, apparently our voucher was only valid if we DINED IN, something they neglected to mention earlier.
Got home and opened up bag to see tiniest container of rice ever! No way would it feed my small dog let alone 2-3 people.
Food wise, choo chee was watery & lacked any flavor, so much so that we threw it out instead of keeping it for seconds. Other dish was nothing special either. Much better value and tastier Thai places around than this.
Would not eat here again!!! Useless

Loved it!. A friend invited us to dinner here a couple of months ago and ordered the stunningly gorgeous Moreton Bay Bugs and the delicious Salt and Pepper Soft-Shell Crab. Since then, we've sampled multiple of their main dishes and have always been delighted. The green apple fish is lovely and the prawns are always perfect, served in really generous portions.

The owners and staff are always friendly, cheerful and helpful. In fact, they've even come to know us by first name now, always coming up with a smile and a friendly greeting.

Needless to say, we've become regulars here now! Thank you Tanny and Kevin.

Not Gluten free friendly. I need to eat Gluten free food and am not much of a chilli lover but bravely went to dinner with my friends (their choice of restaurant) I was dissappointed with the place as it was very noisey but the waitress was very nice so I tried to get her help in ordering a gluten free entree without chilli, only to be told that they couldn't give me anything at all! This was from a page of choices that included salads and soups!!! I got to sit there with my drink while my friends ate. Then I was assured that the Pad thai could be done without chilli and was gluten free. It came with chilli in it, but it had taken so long for main courses to come I just ate it dispite the chilli. This restaurant is really just a cafe with obviously pre-prepared food so they are completely inflexible with special need customers. I (and my friends too) will never return!
Eagle Eye
Okay but nothing special. I had my hopes up after having a great thai omlette here for breakfast.
We came for dinner on a busy sunday night and waited a solid 20 mins for food, which maybe is not unexpected. Unfortunately the simple dishes we chose just didn't have all the usual benchmarks of good thai food. We agreed it was a 2.5 out 5. The Pad Thai had a sweet rich suace which just isn't what a pad thai should be, and the chicken larp was also steeped in a rich sauce. It's not hard to create the fresh lime, tamarind etc sauce of these dishes, so it was a let down.

This restaurant is popular but won't be with those seeking a good Thai feed.

Awesome breakfast!. First time we've been to this cafe but definately won't be the last! Went for brunch today and was very impressed. Excellent service, very personable staff who are chuffed to make your visit enjoyable. Ordered the tofu vegie breakfast on a bit of a brave gamble and it was AMAZING!!! Generous, silky, great mix of light vegies and sauce. Hubby had eggs benedict which were good. Coffees really nice. Chairs super comfy and plenty of space around tables, not squished in like some cafes. Saw someone who had the pancakes - amazing! Will be back for those.
Ray Harris
Tasty but little pricey, tofu extra for vego's!. The food was really delicious, its a little on the pricey side. But what's really annoying is getting charged extra for tofu in the veg version of a dish, when the meat option is not extra. Vego's like some protein too guys!
It's not an extra item, its instead of the meat. The chicken buyer could get tofu and chicken for the same price. For vegetarians this is really off putting and a bit of an unfair rip off. Some dishes include the options-chicken/beef/tofu all same price, this should apply to all dishes that have a meat option, not having meat= tofu included!! otherwise yummy food, nice location.

There are a handful of cafes down Jetty Road in Brighton that have a decent breakfast menu, and In Thais is one of them. Breakfast is served until 11:30am and there are just under a dozen gourmet options on offer. From midday, it changes to a Thai menu with salads, noodles, curries, stir fries and rice dishes, which is pretty much includes all your Thai favourites.
