Great service for our table of 15. The manager had great communication from the get go, I was able to book us in, pay a deposit, and pre-order with ease. My questions were answered quickly, and we ended up with a lovely table and great food.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Park View in January. We booked the downstairs room and bar, which was the perfect size for all our guests. We were really pleased to find a venue with disabled access, which 3 of our guests required.
We highly commend the park view staff who helped and served us on the day: Reese, Ellis, Jade, Joe, Evie, Lau and a special mention to Huw who did a fantastic job of decorating and presenting our wedding cake made of cheese! It looked absolutely wonderful and made a perfect centrepiece. The buffet food was delicious and just the right amount for our guests. The park view staff were attentive and provided bespoke menu options for our guests with special dietary requirements.
Above all, the staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming. They helped to make our special day brilliant. Thank you! All in all the park view was the perfect venue for us and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, lovely space to hold their party/event/celebration.
We arrive early for our lunch today and shown to our reserved table. We were not told that we needed to order at the bar although there were 5 staff very nearby. We had to ask after waiting patiently for some time.
When the roasts arrived they were plentiful and attractive. Both were swimming in gravy, I would have preferred a gravy boat to add to my taste. The roasted vegetables, carrots and parsnip were really hard, these need cooking a bit longer or sharper knives supplied. I had to leave them.
The ladies toilets were horrible, two of the three had broken locks and the third had a lot of writing on the inside of the door with black marker pen.
Being my local I would like this to be a superb pub to visit, with a few tweaks it could be.

The Sunday lunch we enjoyed at The Park View was excellent. The food is cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. A thumbs up to the bar and serving teams, who were really professional and friendly. The fish and chip meal I ordered was absolutely top notch.
First time coming here for food and went for the sharing roast board. As you can see there was a lot to choose from (beef, pork belly and roast chicken) and definitely didn't go hungry. Everything was very fresh and tasty, if I had to find fault I would say the chicken was a bit dry, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. All this was only £16 each between the two of us. Highly recommend!
Had the most loveliest Mothers day lunch here. My Son treated me I wasn’t feeling like a huge roast so we opted for lots of small dishes. Delicious food and just enough for the two of us. Staff where really nice and will defiantly be coming back :)
We made a booking for a large group of families on new year’s eve. The booking process was really easy and all the staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. On the day, everything was perfect. The food came out exactly as we had asked and was delicious. We had a wonderful time and would like to thank all the staff for making things so brilliant.
Unexpectedly excellent. I was very impressed with my vegan 3 course meal. My work colleagues, non vegan, all waxed lyrical about their food as well. Clean, great atmosphere, friendly staff, good service. Much better than expected.
Came in to the Park View today (our favourite local pub) for a chicken roast. The kids have been looking forward to a hot meal all week and it definitely made their year. Thank you Park View, especially Ellis Mason.

From our first enquiry at the pub, through the booking process with Kellie, to our delicious meal on Christmas Eve, everything was brilliant and far exceeded our expectations. We are a large family group and this was to be our big Christmas get together - as the organiser I really wanted everything to be perfect, and it certainly was! Emails were answered promptly, all our awkward requests (even the last minute ones!) were accomodated. Thank you so much to the staff who looked after us so well on the day (I wish I could remember their names!), they were just lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great and felt really Christmassy! Our pre-ordered food arrived in perfect time like a well-oiled machine and our glasses were never empty. The food itself was absolutely delicious, thank you so much also to the staff in the kitchen we didn't see. There is nothing I can think of that needs improving! And I hope we will be back for our family Christmas next year :)
We received exceptionally friendly and courteous service from Lau at a recent meal we had after attending my mums memorial service. The food was lovely, and every need was attended to without too much fuss or intrusion. Thank you.
The service was friendly and attentive, we all enjoyed the evening so much. We thought the atmosphere was festive and unhurried but certainly not slow and the food was amazing! Thank you Park View team, you were brilliant!
Recommended by friends and yes, it was good. Delicious fish cakes on a tasty fish bouillabaisse. Non carne soup was thick and lush. Quite filling for what appeared to be a smallish bowl. Excellent food. Large place with upstairs and downstairs and divided up, so that it didn't seem too big. You can hire out the downstairs with a private bar too.
