Friendly helpful staff great Sunday roast I was asked how I would like my beef cooked and it came out exactly as I asked. There was plenty of meat along with a good supply of vegetables altogether a great meal

Had my mum's wake here and the staff were brilliant and they made it look amazing for my mum lovely food and beer and private area made up for the family. Supplied lovely flowers too. Great value for money in a really nice pub. Thanks to all.

My adult son and I had Sunday roast here. The food was plentiful and delicious - a wide variety of well-cooked and beautifully seasoned vegetables and an enormous Yorkshire pud! Chef Danny came table-side to personally see that we were enjoying our meal. We will definitely return.

This is the kind of pub for locals you will see people at 11am drinking a pint and is a bit dated. If you weren't from the area I could see you walking past but it's really not that bad inside. Every week it has a quiz night which is a fun night out with friends and well worth a visit make it your next night out and give it a go

Great place to watch sports (football, rugby, cricket...) very good to meet friends after work and a nice terrace for those sunny days. Very much local community place, so you'll never be alone. I recommend it. There's evening music too at weekends 🎼⚽

Good place to get a decent pint of Harveys, usually have Abbots as well. Food is value for money & good place to watch sport. Sue the landlady is always friendly.
