Greecian Island Restaurant

When it comes to doing your job, it only takes one mistake, which is one to many, to lose customers. I called Greecian Island lastnight 2/19/22 at 7:15pm and asked the girl that was handling phone orders if they were still taking orders for takeout. She said 'Yes they are. So I gave her my 2 orders and she said 'Is that it? I said 'Yes! She said that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Once I got there and gave the girl my name, she started looking for my order. They didn't even make my order, it was as if she didn't even write down my order to give to the cooks. I said I just called like 20 minutes ago to place my order, it wasn't like they had a lot of customers, in fact there were 2 tables left where customers were getting ready to leave.Then they asked if I would like for them to make my order which they closed at 8pm and it was already 7:55pm. I said NO, the whole point of calling and placing a takeout order is so no one has to wait. I have called many times in the past to place takeout orders and I would get back home only to find that they forgot to add the condiments that I requested but I thought 'NO big deal, but NOT to write down my order and have my food ready when I get there that's just a pure case of incompetence and because of that I will not be returning. I've been ordering takeout food from this place since 2015. I started wondering how many more customers has this happened to?! If Greecian Island is gonna hire kids, they need to make sure they are better trained and are competent to do their job! No Excuse for this!

This diner offers good food at good value. I will warn you about the younger waitstaff they have. The young girls are very rude and 9 times out of 10 when they speak to you they don't even look at you, and that's if they say anything at all. I still recommend this diner, but if the younger girls are rude, blame their parents and complain to management.
