Where have I been? Great little place for vegan veggy loaded pittas in fresh brown or white pitta bread, loads of different toppings, amber mango curry, tahina sauce, £6 meal deal with a drink thats home made Lemon Aid not loaded with sweeteners. No palm oil in the bread or anywhere which is good. 4 kinds of in house humous and with 3 good sized falafels I was stuffed. Will visit again.

5/5 experience. Cheap, incredibly filling and tasty. Lorna was on the counter and led me through the process - she also gave me recommendations on my request which was appreciated. Additionally the shop sells homemade drinks including delicious lemonaid which pairs perfectly with the meal.

We visited the restaurant just a week after its grand opening. We especially enjoyed the jalapeno humus choice and all the salads were delicious. Staff were especially responsive to our request for plain diced cucumber. A great new vegetarian / vegan addition to Brighton's shopping streets and very kind and hospitable owner/staff. Will appeal to kosher/ vegan tastes. Well done!

4 stars for the friendly, quick service. But the food itself was very meh. I got the harissa hummus on my pita and it was much sweeter than I expected and not spicy at all. The pita also tasted like something I'd pick up at the grocery store as opposed to the fresh, warm kind I expect when I go to a legit falafel place. Not awful, just not something I'd personally want to spend 5 quid on again.

What a fabulous find!! On the main shopping street of Brighton is this vegan hummus and pita bar, selling really fresh and healthy food. The service was great and I will definitely be visiting again - highly recommended to vegans and non alike!!

Was in Leeds a couple of years back and came across this little jewel. As a long time resident of Brighton (Hove actually) I was ecstatic when I noticed they had opened a new branch at the entrance to The Lanes in North St. Humpit is probably the best addition to the Brighton casual eating scene in a long time. The quality, service and value for money is second to none.

I’ve been a frequent visitor at Humpit in Leeds and was thrilled to see that they’ve now opened in such a great location in Brighton. On a short summer visit last week we enjoyed a brilliant lunch at the new branch and loved the food - the service was also great! Highly recommended
