The Golden Girl

Gorgeous restaurant. We had a family meal for 8 and the menu worked for all of us. Beautiful food both to look at and taste. Delicious. (No photos of the mains as they got eaten too fast!) Service was fabulous and attentive without being obvious. Cocktails were great fun, different to the usual offer and an equally good mocktail offer for the under18 in our group. Would definitely go again (if only to secure the cake we were promised for the birthday girl!😂)

Lovely little restaurant over 3 floors. Top floor loo’s and a camp little snug! Loved the staff dressing up to the Peaky Blinders to match the decoration theme and the artwork inside. With it being called Golden Girl I was slightly worried the staff would be dressed as Rose and Dorothy, thankfully not. Nice little menu with very good interesting choices. We were a table of 4 so managed to have a good selection of the menu and there wasn’t a single let down. Recommendations would be the Chickpea Fritters and the Prawns (huge!) on the starters list. Mains all very good. I had the Honey chicken which cranked my tractor, and the mushrooms were extremely good. Everything is very obviously cooked from scratch to order and makes this a good choice for eating out. Will def go again!
