Love Hoogly Tea Lodge!
We met up with family for brunch a couple of weeks ago; food, service, atmosphere all excellent as usual.
This is no ordinary cafe, it has so much to offer.
I could find an excuse to go each day they are open if I lived nearby!
A wonderful place very worth finding tucked away near Preston Park. Tina and Paul, the owners, couldn't be more welcoming bringing Danish hospitality to Brighton. The atmosphere is always relaxed and an extra bit of care is taken for the food on the menu.
A great venue to sit and have a peaceful coffee or to do a bit of work or thinking. But also great for meeting friends or attending one of the many regularly arranged events (book club, open mic night, games night and more).
Not forgetting the great choice of teas and of course Hoogly does coffee too.
Thoroughly recommend this place.
Fabulous place to stop for brunch. Lovely tea with a choice of breakfast meals for all tastes. Service was friendly and welcoming. We could just sit and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. We booked, but there was space for walk-ins.

A lovely chilled spot to enjoy a cup of tea and relax, they have an incredible range of flavours and a good mix of caf and decaf too. The teas come with a timer so you brew for the correct time.
Comfortable and chilled atmosphere with lots of interesting teas and bites. Just around the corner from Preston park and frequently drop in on our way home.
Very nice ambience, a hidden treasure. Tried Baked Apple Chai and it was fabulous and love the way it's served with little teapot and timer for 5 mins! Very knowledgeable staff of you don't know what to have but do give it a try!
Well, I wasn't expecting what greeted us when we went inside. We've walked past so many times and finally took the plunge after being persuaded by our son and daughter-in-law. Oh, and our granddaughter also happens to love their babychino.
Full marks for the decor, cakes, and coffee - all boxes ticked. We'll definitely be returning on a regular basis. 👍🏻
I cannot speak more highly of this place. We organised a group booking for friends and family after a funeral in Brighton. Tina and the other staff were so helpful. They provided delicious sandwiches, cakes, toasties, macarons and endless tea & coffee. I would absolutely recommend this place for just a drop in but certainly for a group booking. Thanks Tina!
