If taste buds could talk, I'd let them write this review. Words can't even describe how amazing everything was last night... The combination of textures and favours with every bite, were an absolute delight. We loved it so much, we booked valentines dinner on the spot. Looking forward to having another culinary experience. Excellent food. Well balanced between sour pickles and raw yellowtail kingfish. The two stars off are for the poor customer service. I have to show my bank account and proof twice that the staff charged me in advance while I made the reservation . Felt even more embarrassed while this manager lady/ boss insisted that she is right and the restaurant never charged in advance. The whole mood was just ruined at the end of the dining experience.

Visited Ecco a few years back and I had a vague memory of the food . Having dined at most of the “5” star restaurants in Brisbane, Ecco is right up there. The menu is limited, but each and every dish is mouthwatering. Not cheep , we spent $600 for 3 . Mind you we did not hold back on the food or drink. We chose to share our meals so we got to taste most of the menu. Service was great , perhaps a touch slow , but I was with my kids and it did not matter. If it’s about the food for you, then Ecco should be your destination . Highly recommended

The food was beautiful, but unfortunately, I would expect the entire experience to be pleasant for the price we paid. A group of over ten people brings a significant revenue to a business and the service and the way the staff treats their customers matters as well. The main waiter who served us was doing a great job. We thank him for his dedication. A waitress on the other hand was rude and unaccommodating towards the children. Our food came nearly an hour after we ordered. The entire experience was unfortunate. For a place that claims to be fine dining, I would expect an outstanding and smooth experience. That did not happen.

Very much enjoyed the lunch I had here with my husband. Just a casual lunch, and Ecco made it a memorable one by providing good food, good wine and good service. Not the pretentious fine food, just simple good food, with the hint of artistic presentation, careful attention and fresh ingredients. Thank you!!

Took Mum for Mother's Day lunch. Food, service, drinks were all excellent. There had been a miscommunication when booking but the staff quickly adjusted and accommodated my Mum's dietary needs - thank you! My favourite dish was the gnocchi in truffle sauce - sooo good! It ended up being ~$120 p/Hd including drinks. Mum was very happy & that's always a good sign.
